Jason's P.O.V.
I walk out of the classroom, and I hear Jonah say my name. I smile, and turn around. Jonah is standing there looking nervous. He starts to say "I-I have known you for a long time... And... I wanted you to know that... I like you. More than a friend... And yes.. I am gay." I stand there for a second. I dont know what to say. My sparkling mood turns. I turn to jelly on the inside. I look down at the floor. My eyes start to water. A single tear drop falls on the floor. I refuse to look up. This must be a dream. He cant like me. He can't be gay. I finally look up and Jonah lookes scared. Tears are slowly dripping down my face. Jonah has one tear on the bottom of his chin. "I like you too." I say as clear as I possibly can. Jonah smiles the biggest, warmest smile I have ever seen, and he holds out his hand. I take it.
Jonah's P.O.V.
Inside, I am screaming and crying. Jason said he liked me! I am holding his freaking hand. His HAND. We walk to our next class together, and I don't let go. I dont want to either. We have first period together too. English. We get to the classroom, and one kid is staring at me. He looks down. He looks back up glaring. I-WAIT. I recognize this kid... That is the kid I bumped into when I was going to my locker! He smirked and looked at Jason. He gazed back at me. I now know this is going to be a hard year.
