SOMEWHERE IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN MONTANA, MARCH 2012

It was a early march, colder than normal some would say. In a small rundown shack like cottage in the rocky mountains, on the night of a full moon. A young wife screams in pain holding onto her daughters hand. The moon had just met its apex a hour ago and the women knew he husband would not be able to be there in time.

The six year old girl who's hand was nearly blue from her mother squeezing it so hard. Tears stream down her face, her dark brown hair nearly drenched in sweat, sticking to her forehead. She was scared, no she was terrified. No six year old should have to watch their parent go through something like this. No child should have to fill in for their father in a situation this scary.

The mother screams out as another contraction hits. Once the feeling calms she looks to her daughter and sees the fear on her face. She manages out, "I need- I need you to go find Tessa for me-" as she knew she was going to need help.

The six year old shakes her head fearsly, "No, momma I can leave you here like this."

"You can come right back but momma needs her right now, your little sister really wants to see us soon and for her to do that I'm gonna need a little back up okay. Please?" The mother earges her daughter who finally caves and leaves, not before giving her mother one last uncertain look.

The door of the small hut was thrown open not even three minutes later by a young redhead who rushed to the women's side, "Adele! I thought you weren't due for another six weeks it's much too soon. Are- are you sure it isn't a false alarm."

The women shakes her head at the seventeen year old, as she grinds her teeth together in discomfort, "I think I should know this isn't exactly my first rodeo." She then nods to her daughter who was now on her other side, "This one was about five weeks early and was perfectly healthy. I have faith this one will be okay as well."

The seventeen year old begs, "Do you think she will be able to wait till Cason-" the girl was cut off as the women screams grabbing onto the young girls hand tightly. The red head squeaks, "Never mind- what do I do? Just tell me how to help-"

Hours later a man burst into the small shed the finally free of the moon's curse. He had a terrified look on his face as he stops in his tracks looking at the red head who had tears streaming down her face as she held the small child in her arms.
