Two Years Later, New Orleans

I grabbed my bra from the floor as the guy sat up in the bed and rubbed my back.

“Are you not gonna enjoy breakfast with me?”

I grinned back at him, “Breakfast is another 3 grand that I don’t you have.” I slipped my bra on as I grabbed my dress and zipped it up.

The guy stood up and placed the money next to me.

“You either take the money or get out.”

I narrowed my eyes back at him, “You think I'm scared of you?”

He laughed back at me, “You think I don’t know?”

I narrowed my eyes back at him. “Call me another time for another night. I can't do breakfast this morning.”

He waved back at me as I went out of the hotel room with my phone to my ear.

                “You are late.”

“Shut up Jared, where are you anyways?”

                “I am waiting for you.”

“Do you have breakfast?” I asked him as I hit the elevator doors.

He laughed back at me through the phone, “Of course I have breakfast and seriously we are late!”

I glanced up as the lobby of the hotel was starting to crowd up a bit. I placed my sunglasses on my head as I went out for the main doors when I saw the TV flash about a recent announcement.

I stopped when I saw his face for the first time in years.

I shook my head as I kept moving for the car.

Jared glared up at me as I slide in the seat next to him. “We are like 20 minutes late.”

I glared back at him as I placed the money in his lap, “You wanna tell me again about us being late?”

Jared laughed as he shook his head back at me as he pulled away from the curb, “Your work needs to speed up a little.”

I glared back at him, “You are seriously saying that I need to work faster? What about you?”

Jared cracked a smile back at me, “Don’t bring me into this.”

“You brought it up; you spent over 4 hours with that girl last night. Jared, I told you only 2 hours.”

“And I made over 4 grand from that night.”

I rolled my eyes back at him, “You are an actor, so start acting.”

Jared shook his head as he slowed the car.

I glanced back at him, “What is wrong with you?”

                “Someone is at the house.”
