Chapter 14

Spencer always loathed the part in the stupid chick flick movies that Miranda used to force him to watch, where the girl goes through this depressing period after her break up where she just goes on with life like she doesn't never cared about the guy when in reality she was really distracting herself from reality.

It was embarrassing to watch. Why couldn't movie producers sneak in a new guy that she instantly falls in love with and helps her forget about the stupid jerk that broke up with her. And Spencer could vaguely realize that he was actually comparing himself to stupid chick flicks, but he couldn't help himself.

Tomorrow they leaved the ship and all he could think about was Arthur. The man had captured Spencer's heart from the get go. And Spencer knew..he knew it was wrong because: first, he was not and never has considered himself gay, and second the guy was married with a business that payed millions.

Spencer wasn't cut out for this. He has never been the guy that cared if his heart got broken or not, he just went with the flow of life. But Arthur... Spencer ran a hand through his hair as he stared up at the ceiling, the slight rocking of the boat made Spencer's stomach churn and he decided he could cure it with a drink.

Grabbing on a light blue and brown khakis he headed out the door with no other plans than to grab a drink with as much alcohol in it. Maybe he meet a lady that catches his eyes or since recent events...a guy that could sate him.

When he reached the deck bar, he wanted desperately to scowl at the happy smiling faces of couples and children laughing in glee.

Spencer almost laughed at himself as he realized he himself was turning into a chick overnight. Next thing you know he'd be writing diaries about his feelings and love encounters.

He took a seat on a stool until a cute brown haired, green eyed bartender came over to him.

"What can I get ya?" He had a slight accent signaling he was probably from the south.

Spencer didn't know what he was doing but he found himself leaning closer and flirtatious smirk making its way onto his face. "I don't know. What do you suggest?" He's never hit on a guy before and didn't know why he decided to start now. He didn't even know if the guy went that way or not.

If by luck or faith, the guy smiled and perfect dimple showcased on his face. The bartender leaned close. "I think you should get the sex on the beach. I heard its quite..." The bartender licked his lips and scanned Spencer's face. "..tasty."

Spencer felt his pants tighten. He shifted in his seat. "You can't deliver it to my room somehow? Because I think I left my wallet in my room."

Spencer knew the heat he was feeling from this guy was miles away from what he felt when he was around Arthur but right now he needed a distraction and if this bartender was willing...

"We don't usually do that. But you're hot so I'll make an exception. Whats your room number?"

Spencer followed up by giving him the information. "Whats your name?"

"Adam".

"I'm Spencer."

Spencer carefully got off the seat. "Well, Adam, I'll be waiting for my drink."

Adam chuckled. "No worries, I'll be there."

**

"Knock knock". A southern tanged accent sounded at the door and Spencer stood up, his hands were sweating- a tell tale sign of nerves- ,but Spencer ignored it.

The younger man was sure to distract him from what he really wanted. He slowly opened the door to see Adam with his brown mousey hair tousled and in his hand a delicious looking drink.
