It was the day of Belle's funeral and we were all in the church. I looked down the row at my children. They were all huddled up in a ball of tears. I let a few tears escape my eyes as I pulled them into a hug. I also look at Dyani. For some strange reason she wanted to go to the funeral. She just sat there looking straight ahead.
The service went on. People began to gave their expressions on her and what they thought about her. I saw her sister, her mother, and her aunt all get up to speak. Then, out of the blue, a girl got up. I knew her from somewhere, I just couldn't tell right away. ''Belle was my cousin. She did many terrible things in her life, but I still found it in my heart to love her. After all, she is my blood cousin.'' And with that, she sat down on the pew behind me.
The servie ended and we all went to the cemetary. I looked as her body was placed in a hole. I felt someone's hand on me, when I turned around, no one was there. ''Stay Strong.'' A voice whispered. I knew it was Kay. Did she plan this? How are things goign to get better? I felt a hand on my sholder again, but this time I saw a person. ''Hi.'' She said to me. ''You are Belle's cousin?'' I asked her. She was the lady who spoke at her funeral. ''Yea.'' She said with a small smile. ''You don't remember me?'' She asked .''Yea, from her funeral.'' I spoke. ''No Ray!. From school! You have to remember me! '' She said putting on her glasses.
I looked at her 'TaLilya?' I yelled She shook her head and huged me. Oh my! TaLilya was my first crush in 7th grade! I didn't date her because of her glasses. So I dated more popular people. I should not have done that. ''Where are your kids?'' She asked me. ''With their grandma'' I told her. ''I love kids.'' She said looking down at her stomach. ''You plan on having any?'' I asked She shook her head . ''Doctor said I can't have kids.'' She told me
'' Hey wanna get coffee and talk?'' She asked me. ''Yeah! Meet you at Starbucks.'' I yelled to her as she got in her car. That was a nice car. A Benz tho!
When I got to the coffee shop, the papz beat me there. ''Are you sad your wife is dead.'' they yelled a million questions to me. I just walked in, found TaLilya, and sat down.
''Hey.'' I said looking at her. She was on her phone. ''Hi.'' She said looking up.
