Then I opened it. When I did, the first thing I saw was a very old man lying on a very old bed. The shack was only one room. This

room. It was ancient, but everything was in the right place. I noticed a big plate-with food and water on it-on a table near the man's

bed.

Totally the opposite of what I expected.

The old man tilted his head a little to look at me. He had a long white beard, and wore a tall, red and white .. I don't know if I should

call it a dress.

"Come here, young man." He said mentioning for me to get closer. God! Even his voice was old.

I took a few steps closer.

"Come closer, and faster, the invates will close."

Invates? What a word. It must be another magic thing. Anyway, I walked until I hovered over him. He stared at me for two seconds

and said in a weak voice:

"The magic keeper of the Jose's family.."

Magic keeper? Things are getting weirder and weirder.

"Hi." I said.

"Hi", he said with a smile, "I'm Old Suji."

"I'm Roy, I-"

"I know."

And then his smile vanished.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we don't have so much time. There is a black box about ten centimeters long and seven centimeters large

under the bed. Bring it, fast."

I did what he told me to.

"Listen Roy. I know everything happened to you is very strange. But things will get stranger and stranger. I don't know how much time

I still have..."

Then he started moaning in pain.

"Go! Take the magic box with you!"

Then he stopped moaning.

"God! No stay a little. Don't go."

"Okay."

"You are the chosen one, the magic keeper of the Jose's family. You have to take this box with you and find my grand-son. He will keep

our magic alive."

He did that moan of pain again. Of all those things, I only wanted to know what he meant by 'I don't know how much time I still have'.

"What do you mean by 'I don't know how much time I still have'?"

"If I die while you're still here, the invates will close and keep you here forever."

"What's the invates?"

"Invisible gates."

I just stood there confused for a second.

He saw my confusion, so he clarified:

"When the trees changed."

"Ohhhhhh."

That's why they changed.. The invates opened for me.

And then he was screaming in pain.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!"

"I think I should go right?"

"NOWWW!!"

So I took the magic box with me and ran, good thing I was fast in running. Once I was past those trees, they changed again to their

first shapes. I stopped to catch my breath. Wow. What a day!

It was then when I realized that I've just put myself in an awesome magical adventure.
