Chapter I -

It was the first day of highschool. Wait let me rephrase that. It was the last year of torture, hell, and that i will spend with my friends. Yeah, I will tell you this, I kind of don't like highscool that much. I hate it. But I usually get good grades because sure i dont like highschool but that doesnt mean that i wont like college. Finally i will be in another college or school from the people in my school. Like dude, the minute you step into inside there will be people already gossiping about you, talking smack about you, and judging you. I dont know what is it with my little town but everybody are just hipocrites.

Im an only child. My dad died when i was a baby and my mom...well lets just say that she's rarely at home. She has a job which she needs to be away a lot. I'm already used to it so i dont have a lot to feel bad about.

At school i only have two bestfriends. Their the best that could happen to me. They keep my mind out of the negitivities and always make me laugh. I think they're the only people that care about me.

Their names are Danielle and Ashton. Danille has pretty blond hair and blue eyes. Ashton has brown hair and green eyes.

So we were talking in the hall besides the lockers when something caught my eye.

There was a piece of paper taped to the wall of the hallway. It said 'Masked party' .

"Guys, what is that all about?" I pointed to the piece of paper right across from us.

"Oh! You haven't heard about it?" Danielle asked.

"Ummm...no." I responded.

"Well it's just an event that the head student council decided to put. As a fresh start for this high school year." She filled me up.

Danielle is practically the top gossip girl from the school. She lives for that honestly.

"Oh... sounds fun i guess. Are you guys going?" I asked

"Well of course we are!" Both said at the same time.

"And you are coming also." Danielle said.

"Uh-" I was about to say that i was not gonna go but was interrupted by her.

"No. You are going Vanessa Soult. Sorry but you do know that you have to go out once and a while instead of staying inside your room all day." She kind of had a point.

"So when is it goimg to take place?" I said.

"This friday in the gym." Ashton said.

I just sighed, "Can't wait." I said sarcasticly.

They just laughed at me while they got ready for class. As soon as the bell rang we all separated to go to our own classes

Let's see what life has for me *sighs.

Okey so i know that this is my first book that i've ever written. I probally have some grammar mistakes, if so i am so sorry. Right now i am on summer vacations and i am working on this because....why not?
