morning sorrow

I found myself curled up on the the bed in yesterday's clothes, my achy muscles started to wake as I stretched and sat up. News from the night before hit me in the face like the cold wind does in winter and I was once again saddened, checking my phone I have a few missed calls that I would get to in a bout an hour, I had decided to keep the shop closed today and sit around in bed. I flicked the news on with a cup of black coffee in my hand, the heat from the cup burning the palms slightly but i wasn't paying much attention to it, I wasn't paying much attention to anything right now, so it was pointless to have the tv on but it was fine for background noise.

The sound of my phone ringing brought me out of my trance, it was in the other room so I irratably put my cup down with a groan, nearly spilling it in the process. I managed to pick up phone in time but didn't get a chance to see the number or name.

"(Y/n)? I saw the note on the door of the bakery, are you alright?"
A deep voice rumbled down the phone, it was still pretty early so he probably hadn't been up long. I hated that I liked to hear his voice.

"Mr Grey? What note? I haven't been up to the bakery at all... I'm fine, you didn't have to call" at first my confusion was clear but as I finished I had spoken a little harsher than I meant.

"There was a handwritten note, it said that the bakery would be shut until further notice, did Sarah write this? And I'll make sure not to make a habit of calling then...miss (LN)" he said, his tone had changed, a little darker and a little hurt even.

"Sarah was in a accident and didn't make it, I assume it would have been one of her relatives. That would be best Mr Grey, Thank you for your concern but I have things I need to do" was all I said before ending the call, that was a lie, there was nothing I needed to do. My heart was racing once again and I was left with pink cheeks. What is it about him, he won't leave me alone, not only in person but I can get him out of of my head, his voice was so husky...I wonder if he went to the bakery just to see me?
No...dont think like such an idiot.

I place my phone on my bedside table, a gentle sigh leaving my lips, I head for my coffee, taking a sip I let the hot liquid warm me up after accidentally leaving the window open all night. Was I too harsh on him..? He didn't really have reason to call me.
I wrap the blanket around me and put on a movie, relaxing and feeling better.
"He's a big boy, he wouldn't be hurt by such nonsense from some female" I laugh lightly after seemingly coming to my senses.

It was around five o'clock when I could be bothered to move from my warm sanctuary I had build, i drag myself out and decide to get some takeout from across the road. I pull on some sweats, a hoodie and put my hair in a ponytail, it was no doubt a go to look for any girl who was too lazy and wanted to just lounge but for me there was no way I putting skinny jeans on at this time just to go get take out.
Once out the door with the necessary items I practically jog to the warm building that supplied me with my favourite take out food, pizza. Within 20 minutes I was back in my warm house with a bottle of wine that I  wasn't expecting to get but hey, you only live once.

(And third person, tell me if you like it, I won't do it often but it's just easier for this part)

Before she knew it she was sat on the floor with a bottle of wine in one hand and a cold pizza slice in the other, it didn't look like she was going to be opening the bakery tomorrow and Sarahs family could just call her tomorrow too.
She picked up the phone, pressing the last callers number, by this time it was about 11pm and any normal person would be asleep.
It rung for a few seconds before a sleepy voice answered.

"(Y/n)? Are you Alright?" He said with slight concern due to the lateness of the call and the randomness.

"Hey Grey, whatcha doing? You know you're real-ly cute. I just wanted to ring you, you know" her word slurred with a few hiccups along the way it was so obviously clear she was drunk.

He let out a loud sigh and you could her his bed sheets move before he spoke.
"You've been drinking, are you home?" His voice was serious and full of dominance.

"Yeah, you're good at guessing, you should come over and keep me company" she giggled, she didn't really drink and when she did she would normally make a fool out of herself.

"Just don't go anywhere Okay? I'll be there soon" he said, his voiced rushed and alert.

She sat there as he hung up, her head was spinning and her eyes heavy, a horrible feeling came over her, she knew she needed to get to the bathroom, and fast.
She placed her glass on the table but she didn't do a very good job because the glass fell off the table and onto her floor, and her new white throw. She managed to get onto her feet and stumble to the bathroom, nearly falling multiple times. She was violently sick, leaning over toilet, sat in a dark room, She hadnt bothered with the light and was falling asleep in her drunken mess.

(And back to normal)

I woke up grogily to a room I wasn't expecting to be in and no recollection of how long I had been there, there was a loud knocking at the door, a frantic twisting of the front door handle and a annoyed sigh before a voice to the person who was causing all the commotion.

"(Y/n)?! Unlock the door! (Y/n)? Can you hear me?!" His voice was loud and full of authority. I knew who it was straight away but I hadn't a clue why he was here.

I slowly rose to my feet and used the wall as support as I reached to unlock the door, the familiar click let me know the door was locked no more, I pushed down the handle and opened the door to reveal a very angry Christian Grey.

He helped me sit down before turning on all the lights, earning a few complaints from me. While he was briefly cleaning up my mess I attempted to put my hair up.

"Let me do it" he said quickly but it wasn't a question it was more of a statement. He took the hair band from my grasp and pulled my hair back and plaited my messy and knotted hair effortlessly. He walked away for a moment before returning with a glass of water and pain killers.

"Take this" he said firmly as he placed the glass of water in one hand and the tablets in the other.

" I don't want to, I'm fine" I mumbled and went to place the glass on the table but his hand stopped my own.

"I wasn't asking (Y/n). Take it and then you're going to bed" he said looking at me with those greyish blue eyes. I couldn't lie and say I didn't feel weak under his gaze.
