Chapter 2~ I'm expecting a grand proposal.

I'm extremely sorry for updating after a very long time but I had a lot going on. I'm going to promise to update more often, but for that I need support and motivation to please if you like what I write do vote, comment and share, because that's the only way I'll get to know. Feel free to point out any errors. Productive criticism, and feedback is highly appreciated. Correct me wherever I'm wrong so that I can improve it. I hope you like it. *bites nails*

Scarlet Van der Woodsen, may have been the eldest daughter of Blair and William Van der Woodsen but she has been the most protective one out of all her siblings. The reason for that may be her being the first girl after two generations, or her naïve nature no one knows till date, or no one felt the need to point a reason out, she was the baby of the house despite everything, and that was a fact no one could change.

Seth Alexander Van der Woodsan, was not just her younger brother by a 10 months (their parents just couldn't control), but also her support system, her savior, her best friend and most of all her secret keeper. Having him, was the best thing that could ever happen to her, she had been at her lowest and most vulnerable points and he had seen it all. His shoulder was the one she used to cry on, his arms were the safe haven she found comfort in, his ears were the ones that had heard her cries and her secrets, his eyes were the ones that had witnessed her crying like a baby while his arms held her protectively against his chest, and even though being younger than her by a year, he was her older brother. They had been close ever since he had been born, his eyes recognized what her heart desired to say, without her uttering a word out of her mouth, their relationship was not like the one other brothers shared with their sisters, a love-hate relationship was not between the, sure, they did have their moments when they fought and pulled each other's leg but their love for each other was something everyone envied an admired at the same time. 

Serene and Sean Van der Woodsan, the twins of the house, the most mischievous and wilful of the entire Van der Woodsan family were the heart of the family, both the siblings were after one another, pranking each other, and often pranking others together even at the age of 19. Being partners in crime was not the only bond they had, they sur did fight A LOT, but their love for one another was just like the one their siblings shared.

Both the brothers Sean and Seth had protective and possessive bones on their bodies, which made them turn into alpha males the minute someone laid an eye on their sisters. Majority of the fights that had taken place in school or in high school, even in university had been with guys who had tried to approach their sisters. Blair had always complained to William about them taking up on their father, to which their father had always either laughed it off saying he had been a wild one and this trait was a part of their inheritance, which was..... true. (fortunately, or unfortunately, well let's just say that's hard to decide.) Normally, if children end up in the principal's office for being involved in a fight, it's considered shameful, or embarrassing but not for Dr. William, for he took pride in his sons being able to protect his princesses, giving them assurity that in his absence they would not let any harm come to them.

Moving back to Manhattan was a rather drastic step for them all, 10 years, it had taken 10 long years for them all to forget everything. And now, they were to return to their home, back in Manhattan. Even though thinking about what happened 10 years back did make all of them shudder, they knew that it was a place they had to return to one day. London, even though did give them a very homey environment to stay in and live their life, they knew that it was just a way for them to cope with the situation and take a break from things, they could never call it their home no matter how homey it felt. Leaving London, a place where they had lived for 10 years, made some beautiful memories in, a place which made them come to terms with life itself once again, was sure as hell not easy for anyone but it was a step they had to take for the betterment of everyone.
