Hi, Ava Gardner, that's my name. I live alone, with my best friend, Aleena.

We live together, in a small appartment. We have our own bedrooms though.

New York, Manhattan, to be exact. Ya know, the big apple. So by the time Aleena and I got there, they were in peace. I have two more friends. Janelle, but we call her Jazz for short, and Alfonso. We were all classmates in fourth grade. I was the class.........nevermind.

I had just woke up, when Aleena, BURST into my room! "THEY'RE HERE!!!" She screemed, still holding on to the door. " Who's here? And why?" She smirked at me. "Oh...YAY!"

"C'mon! They're having breakfast at the table, right now." I got up, and she ran outside. I took a bath, then put on me and Aleena's friendship/luck necklaces. Then got into my clothes.

I went downstairs, and found Janelle, sitting right there, in front of Aleena. I ran to hug her. "OH MY GOSH!!! JAZZ!!!!!" I screamed and hugged her. "Alfi will be here in a bit." "Alfi?" "Alfonso, me and Jazz came up with it." I nodded. "Mm-hmm."

The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." "It's probs Alfi." Aleena giggled. I scoffed. "Yeah right." I smiled and went to open the door. Alfonso, er, Alfi stood there, holding a boquet of pink roses.

"Alfi?" "Uh, Ava, it's me, Alf-ONSO." "Well, yeah, the girls gave you that nickname. Come in." I smiled. "Hey Alfi!" He lifted his eyebrow. "See!?!" "Huh, yeah. Anyway prom is coming up, maybe one of you girls would like to come with me?"

"AVA WANTS!!" "SAY WHAT!?" I shouted. "Oh please. We know he was your "escort"." "Hey! I was muse! It had to be done for. Besides, I don't think I wanna go." "SEE ALFI, SHE SAID YES!" "JAZZ!" "What? I'm going there with my brother." "I'm going with Allan."

Alfi's in the soccer team. Which I think was very random of me to say. "So Ava will you go with me?" "Still on the fence." "Fence, always better than no."

He handed me the roses, "Alfi, they're beautiful. Thank you." I went inside the kithen and put the roses in a vase. Then I left, then went to my room, sat on my blue bed and sighed.

***Alfonso's POV***

I talked to Allan, he said he's taking Aleena, and we all know Jazz, hates going out with boys, so she's defientley going with her brother, so I thought, I'd just take Ava.

She's naturally beautiful, her dark brown hair, brown eyes, and skin, as fair as snow. She was perfect, to me, in many other ways.

***Ava's POV***

I have to be honest. I want to go, with Alfi, but, you know, it will be awkward. He's like my best friend. It will be SO socially awkward. But, I wanna know who's prom king and queen. So maybe.

I don't know, my mom said that she's the one to talk to, when, I have romance problems. So, I got my phone, and searched for her name, then clicked it:

Mrs. Gardner: Hello? Sweetie!? It's been a while. How are you and Aleena?!

Ava: Relax mom, we're fine. Only, Aleena gets us drunk with frat guys every spring break.

Mrs. Gardner: Oh, I bet you take scotch on rocks, with a twist. I mean, it's fine. So, do you have a date to prom?

Ava: Well, Alfi did and-

Mrs. Gardner: ALFI?

Ava: Alfonso, anyway, he asked me, and I thought about it, and maybe, maybe I could go with him.

But, my battery died. Couldn't hear my mom anymore. I opened my mouth, looking at my dead phone. "Great!" I put my phone, on the desk near my bed, got up and thought a lot about it. Maybe, I will go with Alfi, or maybe not.

"Hey Ava?"...............he entered. "Alfi?" "I'll best be going. It's ok if you don't wanna come with me. I'll just go find another date." "Wait, no, I've been thinking, maybe we could go together." I smiled for a short period of time, he smiled back.

"Yeah, that would be nice. Thanks." He smiled again. "Bye." "Bye." I smiled AGAIN! Then he left. I put on my headphones, and got my computer. I went to facebook to check my files.

I wondered who sent me a message. I clicked my inbox and the message said:

Dear Ava,

Don't even try to steal Alfonso away from me. He's mine. If you continue this, I will make your whole high school life SUCK! I am going to prom with him. BECAUSE HE'S MINE!!!

AH! Who sent this! I looked at the sender's name. Unknown was written on it. I thought, the more I sleep, the sooner, this will go away, so I slept. But that night, I had a dream, and I saw a girl...............-Gasps-!!!!!
