Chapter 10

NEXT MORNING

Lilly's POV-

I woke up on my left side and I rolled over to check my phone and it was 11:26 am. I checked all of my notifications and then I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get a shower. I realized that I had my date today with Jonah and I didn't know what to wear. I decided right now to just put on some leggings, a plain red shirt, and my Nike slides. I put my hair up in a messy bun and then I went downstairs to get some breakfast. I seen Alyssa downstairs watching Stranger Things and I went to the fridge. "Hey Lyss, I think we need to go to the store and buy some food" I said to her and she paused the TV. "Yeah I was gonna go to the store today and get some. Why don't we (haha get it 😂😂 okay okay I'm not funny I get it) get some breakfast and then go to the store?" I was pouring orange juice in my cup while I agreed to go. I decided that I was gonna tell her about my date today with Jonah while we were out for breakfast. She got dressed and got ready for the day while I was texting Jonah.

To Jonah😍- I can't either😍 Btw, what should I wear? Something casual or "fancy" 😂❤️

Alyssa was done getting ready and I drove both of us to go get breakfast. We went to a café that we usually go to when we're in the mood for a lot of food. We ordered our food and Alyssa was telling me about Stranger Things and what had happened. I decided now was the time to tell her... here we go....

"Hey um, I gotta tell you something.."

"Yeah sure, what is it?"

"So..... last night.... Jonah asked me out on a date"

"Really?! Yesss finally! Y'all are so cute together! I'm so happy for you!"

"Thank you. I don't know where he's taking me, he just said dress casual, so I'm gonna need your help for today. It's at 6"

"Oh for sure for sure! You're gonna look so cute tonight"

"Thank you so much. Oh yeah... and also one more thing...."

I got interrupted by our food being brought to us. We started eating and I was nervous to tell her Jonah and I kissed...

"What were you gonna tell me?" Alyssa says after swallowing her bites of food

"Oh... um.... well..... Jonah and I kissed last night.." She dropped her jaw and was shocked

"No way. You're lying!"

"Nope... I'm not"

"I'm so happy for you!! How was it"

"Well, it was good. I don't know. It gave me a good feeling about it. I can't stop thinking about it if that tells your anything?"

"Really? That's so amazing. I'm really happy for you"

"Thank you Alyssa, thanks for always being there for me and being my best friend"

"Of course, anything for you!"

We continued eating and we payed our check and went straight to the store. Both of us bought food with our own money. We bought different things and left. It was 2 pm and Jonah was picking me up in 4 hours, AHH! I needed to go home and get ready ASAP! We hurried home and Alyssa and I were gonna get me ready.
