Insecure

Jungkook and Taehyung have been good friends for a while now, they love the other's presence and it never fails to bring a smile to their faces. They were both aware of the fact that they make eachother very happy, but very oblivious to the fact that they have feelings for eachother.

Jimin had recently developed an interest in photography, and so spent most of his time recently taking pictures. When they walked around he'd manage to capture a few photos with his camera, of the trees, and of his friends; Jungkook too.

One day, Jimin had taken a picture of Jungkook he thought captured his beauty really well, but Jungkook disagreed, he found it really unappealing. He had always been insecure with his appearance and never liked taking photos of himself, so that's why Jimin would always take them secretly.

Jimin asked Jungkook if he could post it, which obviously, Jungkook rejected it. But later on that day, Jimin went on to post that photo anyway.

The younger was extremely embarassed when he had found out, because firstly, he didn't look good (to him) and secondly, the one person who he didn't want to see the picture, Kim Taehyung, had already seen it.

He immediately called Jimin and yelled at him through the phone, demanding him to take down the photo, which he then did, although it was too late, Jungkook thought, as Taehyung already saw it.

Later that day they were all hanging out, but Jungkook was too embarrassed for Tae to see him. That picture was so awkward and he hated it, but Taehyung thought the opposite.

Everyone else had left and it was only Tae and Kook left in Jungkook's bedroom. They were playing overwatch until they got tired and decided to take a break.

"Kookie" the elder said as he laid his eyes on the beauty infront of him. "Yeah?" the younger responded, with his eyes on the floor, not wanting to look at Taehyung.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he moved closer to thr younger boy, noticing his distant behaviour from before. "Nothing, I'm just annoyed that Jimin posted that picture without permission" he said with a sigh, which Taehyung replied with a chuckle. "See, you're even laughing because it was so bad" he said with a pout, crossing his arms and maintaining his eye contact with the floor.

Taehyung sat infront of Jungkook on the bed, and turned the younger around so he was facing him, taking his hands in his as he does so. "Jungkook" he said with a serious facial expression, yet a soft and gentle voice to make up for it. The younger furrowed his eyebrows slightly and looked up into the elder's eyes. "I'm not laughing because the picture was bad. I'm laughing because you're really cute. Jungkook, you may not agree but I found that picture beautiful, you're honestly so gorgeous it makes my heart skip a beat just by looking at you this close right now" he says in a soft, almost whisper like voice, before bringing his hand on the younger's face and caressing it carefully. He felt the other's cheek's heat up and saw a pink tint rise to his cheeks, causing the younger to look down.

"Look at me please, I want to see your pretty face" he says in a whisper, causing Jungkook to look back up at him with his doe eyes. They stare into eachother's eyes for a moment, taking in the remarkable creations before them.

Taehyung doesn't know how, but the time felt perfect. What he wanted to do for years, the confidence has finally come. He placed his other hand behind the younger's head with the other hand already on his cheek, and pulled his face close until their lips connected. The younger was taken by surprise but immediately returned the kiss.

Their lips felt soft against eachothers, they took their time with the kiss, feeling eachother slowly and gently, both had been desiring to do this for as long as they can imagine.

After about a minute or so, they separate, and can't help but let out a smile.

"I've wanted to do that for so long" Taehyung lets out through his wide smile. "Me too" The younger says, before Taehyung reconnects their lips.

They lay down and cuddle, with Taehyung wrapping his arm around Jungkook's waist and holding him to his body close and tightly. He then plants several kisses all over his face; his forehead, nose, eyes, cheeks, before going to his lips and giving him one long kiss.

They both smile in between the kisses and can't help but want the moment to last forever.

"You're beautiful" Taehyung says as he moves back a bit, before seeing Jungkook smile, so he goes back to kissing him again.
