Since childhood.

Jimin and Jungkook are childhood friends and ever since they are inseparable. They are neighbors, partners in crime, classmates and are practically brothers who share a room when Jimin's parents are leaving for work abroad.

Jimin would stay at Jungkook's room and enjoy his company. Oftentimes, he'd regret having his own room. He's sure the Jeon couple would approve of adopting him if only his parents would throw him away as it's the only way to legalize his stay in their house despite the Parks' return.

But he knows it's the last thing he wants. He never wanted to be Jk's brother or friend for that matter. He wanted to be Jungkook's but he doesn't know much about his feelings yet so since time immemorial he kept his mouth sealed and shut about it to preserve their friendship.

Hannah Montana taught him he can't have the best of both worlds so he's enjoying the ride. So as usual, he slept over at Jk's house and left most of his belongings there. T'was midnight when he heard a loud honking. He knew he had to go back. His parents are back.
