"Girls how was your-" through the review mirror Mikayla could see the two girls fast asleep, Blake's head laying on Taegan's shoulder; smiles on their sleeping faces and hands interlocked.
At the red light the woman pulled out her phone, snapping a quick picture and sent it to Blake's mother:

Aren't they just the cutest?Aw! That's my new wallpaper
I take it the date went well? They had a blast
I'm glad
Placing her phone in the cup holder she continued the drive to Blake's place, turning down the radio to not disturb their peaceful slumber. Mikayla's heart was overjoyed for her daughter and for Blake as well; she loved their relationship in terms of how sweet and innocent it was. It warmed her heart to see her daughter so, so happy. It even warmed Taylor's heart who every so often shot glances back at the two, smiling a big, gap-tooth grin.
"I like them together," he said, nodding and turned to face the front. "Blake's nice and rides skateboards with me."
"I like them together, too; and does she? I wouldn't take her as someone who does."
"She's not that good. Falls a lot, but it's the thought that counts." He shrugged, turning to look at them again, then back towards the front. Mikayla chuckled, pulling into the driveway and cut the engine.
"Girls."
Taegan woke first, pouting and rubbing her eye with her palm. Her movements forced Blake's eyes open, a pout on her face as well. The two looked at one another smiling before turning their attention to the front. "Hey," the former yawned.
"Blake you're home sweetie."
She nodded, tightening her hold on her girlfriends hand and nodded towards the door. "Thank you Ms Snow, bye!" sliding out the car she slammed the door shut, resting against the cool metal waiting for Taegan who arrived shortly after, intertwining their fingers again.
"I had fun tonight," Blake spoke, licking her dry lips and smiled.
"Me too. Sorry it's been so long since we last hung out."
"It's just been two weeks."
"Two weeks too long." Stopping in front of Blake's front door reminded her of their first kiss — kind of. It was just a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow, right?" Blake questioned, pushing stray strands of hair behind her ear. Taegan grabbed both the girls hand, nodding. "Awesome."
Taegan took a step closer, heart racing. "Can I do something crazy?"
"Ok."
"Don't freak out?"
"I won't."
"Promise?"
"I promise." she smiled.
Inhaling a deep breath Taegan shut her eyes, leaning down to place her lips against Blake's, her hands squeezing hers tightly. When she pulled back she grinned, face as bright as a tomato. "I really like you, Blake Mackenzie Redd, you are so amazing."
"I really like you, too, Taegan Snow." Raising on her tip-toes she sealed the space between them once more, smiling happily into the kiss. "Goodnight."
"S-sweetest dreams."
"Text me when you're home." Taegan was pulled into a tight embrace. "Don't forget."
"I won't," pulling back she waved a last goodbye before skipping to her mothers car, hopping in the backseat.
"Taegan and Blake, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Taylor sang loudly as his sister buckled up.
"Shut up," she smiled.
Fin.
