Gabi's POV:
My name is Gabi Diamond. I'm twenty-three years old and I'm a chef. Well, almost a chef. I applied for a personal chef position for a billionaire named Josh Kaminski. He published his own app and designs software for other app developers. Josh already has a maid and publicist. The maids name is Yolanda and she's an absolute joy to be with. The publicist on the other hand, Elliot, is just plain rude. I know it's because he wants a hot MALE chef to hit on because Josh will never cave in to the gay side.
Josh called me in for a rehearsal dinner. He said if he liked my cooking, I'd get the job. I just had to make dinner for him and his girlfriend Caroline. He wanted to propose to her and he wanted the dinner to be very special. So, I used one of my mom's meals that she used to make for my dad on special occasions.
After hours of preparation it was time for their dinner. I set the table in Josh's huge apartment and placed everything out perfectly. I pulled the champagne Josh bought from the fridge and placed it in an ice bucket and placed two glasses next to it. Josh walked in and smiled.

Josh: "Wow Gabi. This looks fantastic. You didn't have to go all out for this."

Gabi: "I mean I kinda did. It is your engagement dinner."

Josh: "You're right. I forgot. Wow I'm so nervous. Do I look nervous? Cause I'm sweating like a dog."

Gabi: "And you're yapping like one too. Relax, you'll be alright. Just be yourself."

Josh: "Thank you Gabi for doing this. Caroline's gonna love it."

And in second Caroline walked through the door. Her smile fell into a frown as she placed her purse on the couch.

Josh: "What's wrong."

Caroline: "Oh nothing. Except...we need a break."

Josh: "But I-"

Caroline walked out of the apartment dragging her luggage behind her. Yolanda, Elliot, and I stared at Josh in shock. He just stood there with a blank stare.

Gabi: "Josh..you okay?"

Josh: "I...wow."

Gabi: "Here. Eat some of this dinner I made. You like mashed potatoes. Those always cheer me up."

   I handed him a plate of food and he just held it staring at it.

Gabi: "Oh come on. Drink some of this."

   I poured him some champagne and the engagement ring fell out with it.

Gabi: "And there's the ring..."

I set the glass down and grabbed other drinks from the fridge. I gave one to Josh and opened for myself as Yolanda and Elliot slowly backed away from us. We talked for hours and hours. Drink after drink.

Next thing I know I woke up in someone's bed. I looked around in terror of not knowing where I am and who I'm laying next to. I felt around the blanket laying on top of me, then I peeked under the blankets. I was totally naked. The figure next to me stirred and sat up. I sat up with him and looked over. Josh. I gulped and he jumped out of bed.

Josh: "G-Gabi I'm sorry."

Gabi: "Um it's fine. We were drunk. You were upset. Who knows. We probably didn't do anything and just fell asleep like this."

Josh: "You know what, you're right."

Gabi: "Yeah. So..can you turn around so I can get dressed?"

Josh: "Oh. Yeah. Right."

   Josh turned around and I picked up my clothes that were scattered all around the floor. We said our awkward goodbyes and I rushed home. I prayed to god all of this would just go away.
