I never knew my real parents the abandoned me. I always knew I was different. The other children could not do half the things I could. My intelligence was far ahead of the others. By the time I was 3 I could read a book made for High school/ college students and understand every word. I was made fun of everywhere I went. They would call me "D the geek" or "D the retard". I brushed them off. See My name is D. When my parents abandoned me the taped a note to the crib saying goodbye. I knew my name and images of a beautiful land burning. That's it. No other memories. Oh how I wish I knew the name of the land. The name of my home. Let me tell you about my hell.

You may call it Earth but I call it Hell. I did live in an orphanage but today is my 18th birthday or moving out day. I packed up my things and left. No goodbyes, no hugs or wishes for luck. Just an old woman saying "Bout time you left." I was happy to be out. They were mean, beating kids with large wooden sticks for one rude or bad word.

Walking out of that house was walking out of a nightmare and into hell.

I had no where to sleep. No where to live. No money. Just a lone traveler walking around in a depressing world with pain being hid by smiles and tears hidden my sunglasses. A seemingly perfect world, but if you take a closer look it is the worst place in the whole universe.

I feared nothing but a small flicker of pain. A small flicker of fear burned in mind when I thought of being alone roaming the Earth. Hiding my pain with smiles and tears with sunglasses. That flicker of fear went away when I met him. Standing alone by an old shop watching me.
