So, today a new episode of Ducktales aired, if you watched it, go ahead and read, and if you haven't then you can read if you want, it just gives away a bit of the episode. I watched carefully and then came up with this. I was bored and thought it'd be cool to dig into this whole, Dewey has middle child syndrome thing, this is what I thought.

Case of middle child syndrome (True)

Dewey does indeed have middle child syndrome, and we were even given a few words from Dewey himself that suggested that. Before we could tell that Dewey might have middle child syndrome by his actions, but this Day of The only Child, deffinantly takes the cake. Dewey's excentric behaviour and actings before this episode gave us the clue that he had middle child syndrome, but as the different segments go by, first through Huey's, then Louie's, we finally get Dewey's. Dewey has a show, dedicated to himself. Not only does that say CONCEITED, but it SCREAMS ATTENTION. As he goes through his differnt "guests", a toy robot he called Huey and a lamp he called Louie, Dewey had Louie Lamp say this.

"You're no anonymous middle child, you're the unique glue that hold us brothers together."

Okay....that's just really sad, but it also might be something that he wishes to hear from his brothers. He feels forgotten because he is the middle child. Middle kids are barely to always neglected the most and end up feeling alone and tossed to the side. They start to act up and want attention, in Dewey's case, this true. His other actions from earlier episodes, for example, The Infernal Internship of Mark Beaks, Dewey, in no way shape or form does he want the internship with Mark Beaks, but he says

"It's everything I never knew I wanted."

He is obviously trying to up one his older brother Huey. Some might say, maybe he does want this job, but all he wants is the praise of his older brother. The creators of the show wanted to point ot that Dewey does have middle child syndrome in the very first episode when Scrooge forgets his name and calls him

"The third one."

That will obviously upset anyone, a twin, sure, but the middle triplet? Oh boy. A middle sibling in general, that's tough, but imagine the effect it would have on a triplet. Middle children are usually the more sensitive, and emotional siblings. This is proven through out the whole series, Dewey has a strong emotional bond with his missing mother, Della Duck. Even if he's never met her, or has recolecction of any past memories with her, he wants to find her. In The Spear of Selene, Dewey seems dedicated to prove that his mother was a good person. Now, all the triplets seem to be connected with an older duck in their lives. If not emotionally connected, then personality wise. Donald is careing and overprptective, something similar to the personality of Huey. Scrooge, money hungry trillionaire with a heart. That's also Louie! But when you look into connections with Dewey, the show portrays him being close with Launchpad, but they do not have any similar personality traits, besides their, um, stupidity. I'M SORRY YOU TWO BUT IT'S TRUE! Other than that, they have no other trait connections. However, we are not sure as to how Della Duck acts. Maybe Della is like Dewey and Dewey is like his mom. We are hinted that Della is adventurous, maybe, just maybe. She is just as adventurous as her son Dewey. Dewey, is the middle triplet. He is the adventurous one, the loud one, the dedicated one, the forgotten one, the under appreciated one. He's the sensitive one. The one that will go through anything to get his mother back. Dewey is the forgotten triplet. All of these clues indicate that Dewey, has a severe case of Middle Child Syndrome.
