There he was. His pale white legs dangling over the edge of the tallest building he could actually get up to in his city. He looked below him, thinking to himself. Are my parents and family looking for me? Surely they have to wonder where I am.. Nevermind. I'm stupid to think they actually care about me. They never have.

Charlie was just a normal 15 year old boy. Or so everyone thought.. Charlie had, well has thoughts of his own.. Thoughts of sadness, built up anger, self harm, and the worst.. suicide. Charlie thought about these 4 things every day of his horrid life..

He constantly would cut his thighs.. not his wrists for he feared someone would find out and send him to a mental hospital. It's possible that's where he belonged, but he didn't want to think about that at the moment..

Charlie looked down below him once again and mentally and physically prepared himself to jump.. to take his life and wait to feel his small, skinny body hit the concrete hard. He wanted to be beat until he couldn't feel pain anymore. He wanted to punish himself for what he thought he was, a mistake.. he didn't really care about what anybody else felt about him, all he wanted to hear from people was the truth, not blatant lies. The truth that he was worthless, a mistake, and meant nothing to everyone.

Charlie looked up at the slight fog covering the now rising full moon then back down to the street lights of the city below him. He thought about the civilians that would watch him fall and scream in terror and disbelief at his mangled body. He thought about how his family would feel and a few minutes later decided he didn't care about their thoughts. He knew what he wanted and that was death.

He sighed and looked at his red converse, he wore a black Green Day t-shirt and regular black skinny jeans, his hair was colored and styled like your average emo, black and teased to cover his eyes and most of his emotionless face. He sighed once again and prepared himself to jump.

Charlie stood up and quietly said to himself, "Goodbye everyone. I know you all won't miss me.." then he jumped. He closed his eyes as he felt his body falling. His body hit the ground with a loud thud and the people walking the late night streets gasped and immediately ran over to him. People frantically screaming and calling 911. The paramedics came and took Charlie away, hoping they'd be able to make it in time.
