Kin whispered back, "Huh?".

"We're going to save those people trapped in the reproductive house". I responded.

"But- how". She began to sound like she was going to cry again.

"We'll figure it out, anyway, we should make our move this week since all the graduates are free this week, no one would question us wandering around". Kin slumped in my arms.

"Okay, sounds good". It was getting late. There was one large window in the apartment, and from the looks of it the sky was dark. It was night time.

"Anyways lets get some sleep tonight". I placed Kin down on the sofa and walked to the bed room. I opened it up and saw that there was only one bed. It was a small room with a bed in the middle, an old dresser on the right of the bed and a oak lamp table on the left. There was a window that over looked the safe haven. Even up on the second story you couldn't see past the monstrous walls. I walked back out to the living room.

"Im not sleeping with you". Kin said.

"That's reasonable" I said. "Here ill sleep here on the couch, you can have the bed to yourself". Kin laughed a little.

"Silly". She stretches from the couch. "Ill sleep here since im already here".

"But its so uncomfortable."

"That's okay". She lays down and doses off. I guess she was sleeping there tonight. She laid with her head towards the inside of the sofa and hand her legs on the edge. Very strange way to sleep. I sat down next to her, surprisingly she was pretty short so she did not take up the whole sofa. She was knocked out. I sat down and opened my dad's diary again. I took out the map and examined it. Making escape routes with my mind. Memorizing the map. I wonder why the book was so thick if there was only three entries. I flipped through the pages and realized they were all blank except the last one. It had a passage written on it, a poem.

invisible,

In the night

Nowhere to be seen

Kiss.

I thought this was particularly strange because the poem had no meaning. I looked at it for a while, and then I notice something. The first line wasn't capitalized, but the rest of them were. If you took the first line and the rest of the capitalized letters it spelled, invisible INK. It's a reach but maybe there's more to this diary, my dad was a scientist after all. I went around the house looking for a UV light if there is one. There wasn't one. But I had an idea. Ill go down and ask for one, don't worry I know what im doing. I walk down to the communication's desk and greet the lady.

"Hello there, May I ask for a UV light, im very afraid of germs and I need one immediately, who knows what could be lurking up there". The lady looks at me funny.

"I-Ill see what I can do". She calls someone and looks back at me. "They're bringing one down right away, a man should be here soon". I wait patiently at the desk. A couple minutes later a man walks by with a relatively small UV flash light. He laughs and hands me it,

"You never know with these kids, that's like the fourth germaphobe to ask for one, keep it kid, its on the house anyway". I thank him and walk back up stairs. It was late. As I walk I hear someone, it was coming from my room. I ran towards my room. From a far I could see that the door was open,  I saw someone, it was another male student with light brown hair. He had Kin pinned to a wall aggressively, he pinned her wrist with his hands. Kin was struggle to escape, moving right and left trying to free her arms. He kept squeezing harder. I was in disgust. I run as fast as I could towards them, my nerves were tightening, I had to save Kin.
