I had just sat down on Ludwig's soft beige sofa when I realised: snacks.
I was round for our weekly movie marathon night and I had realised that I didn't go and buy any snacks. At that moment, looked down at my stomach, only to hear the faint grumble of thunder coming from it. I knew I needed to act fast.
"Ludwig!" I shouted- hearing the echo bouncing around his house.
Soon enough to, a reply strolled out of the kitchen seconds later: "Ja?"
The sheer sound of his German accent made chills run down my spine.
"Do you have anything to eat?"
A slight hesitation-
"I do.. vhy? Do you vant something?"
I knew I didn't even need to think.
"Yes please, what do you have?"
"Aha!" Lud's pounding footsteps echoed down the hallway towards the sitting room I was in - and sure enough - he came in carrying a fresh-from-the-bakers bag of Italian biscotti. I felt a smile grow on my face as he placed the bag down beside me on the side table. He knew me to well. As he turned to leave the room to resume cleaning (or whatever he was doing) I grabbed him by the arm and pulled him down onto the sofa next to me. I leaned over an grabbed the pack of biscotti: then proceeded to rip the seal. I took one of the teardrop-shaped biscuits from the plastic and placed it in-between my teeth. I looked into Ludwig's eyes.. he looked in to mine. "Ludwig?"
"Feli?"
"I love you."
"..ich liebe dich."
Suddenly, Lud came closer and bit half of the biscotti out of my mouth, leaving the other half still there. Once we chewed the biscuits in silence, he leaned in and kissed me. I pulled away momentarily- then pressed my lips into his, kissing him.

After what felt like hours of pure heaven, we stopped. But this was replaced by him wrapping his arms around me, and me snuggling down into his strong muscles.

"Luddy?"
"Ja?"
"Ich liebe dich."
