Author's Note - I've used the name Ryuunosuke repeatedly, this is not tied to the previous chapters.
Only 2 people will understand this ending, for it's a conclusion to a roleplay I fucked up. I wanted to correct it. So here I am.
A brief summary. Ryuunosuke is a Death scythe, who is extremely powerful with black flame.
Takashi is his wielder. The two met in highschool, they grew up together and became lovers.
Takashi is a flamboyant gay. Ryuunosuke not so much.
They made new friends recently with a few girls and Takashi made a decision that they should go on a summer trip and share a vacation home.
To make it short, things got a little screwy and went downhill.
That's all I'm going to type because I'm tired.
Also ignore the fact I switch from Taka/Takashi Ryuu/Ryuunosuke

Something isn't right. Oh, wait. Nothing feels right. I feel empty. There's a hole in me because I just went and fucked everything up. I thought a fun vacation with all our new friends would be wonderful. I thought purposing on the beach would be perfect. Nothing worked out. Here I am with a girl I don't even know how I feel about. My old partner is locked up with Lord Death.

"Oh, hold on Jinx." Taka says interrupting his "girlfriend" mid sentence as his phone goes off, the ringtone different than any other signifying it's Lord Death.

Lord Death: I need you here now. Ryuunosuke has gone on a rampage and is refusing to stop. If you spot black flames in a location that's where he'll be.
This is an emergency.

Taka stands straight up, knocking the chair he was sitting in back and shoving his phone in his pocket.
"I have to go."
He says sharply and quickly before hustling out to his motorcycle and throwing on his helmet. He ignores the questioning from Jinx, turns on his bike and speeds off.

"Fuck the police...' Taka mutters as he speeds through the streets, narrowly missing getting hit multiple times. His earpiece in his helmet goes off and he presses a button answering a call.

"Where the HELL are you going?! You can't just leave without saying anything!" Jinx yells through.

"Dammit..." Taka grumbles and focuses on the road, he spots black flames in the distance.

"TAKASHI! ANSWER ME!" Jinx bursts angrily, movement can be heard as she starts to head outside to get to her car.

"It's Ryuunosuke, Okay? Now hang up the fucking...'" Taka starts before cutting off, now he's close to the flame and spots Stein and Spirit trying to take down Ryuu.

"Oh FUCK NO!"  Taka yells and he turns his bike and rides up onto the sidewalk and gets right to the field that's half covered in black flame. He leaps off his bike and throws his helmet off. He sprints toward Stein and Spirit, but before he gets close he looks out into the field of black flame and spots Ryuunosuke.

"Is that all for me?! Lock me up! Kill me! Like hell, I have nothing to loose! This world is full of shitheads anyways!" Ryuu laughs hysterically through the tears streaming down his contorted face. Blood trails from various wounds across his body.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Taka yells at Stein and Spirit. Stein whips his head towards Takashi.

"Get out of here." He says sternly, not wanting to deal with Takashi.

"Like fucking hell! You're going to KILL him!" Taka yells, Ryuu's gaze falls upon Taka.

"Oh look. Now you come back. Happy without me?!" Ryuu says his voice cracking, yet he covers it with a chuckle.

"I'm not fucking happy! I went and fucked everything up. That's what fucking happened!"
Taka yells and turns to Ryuu.

"Oh please... I saw you happy with HER!"
Ryuu scoffs his eyes watery.

"It was all confusion. I didn't know what the hell I was doing. You got so damn upset! I didn't know what to say or do! I'm a damn stray dog without you!"
Taka snaps getting more angry than he already is, not even bothered by the black flames inching closer to him.

"Well you fail to pay attention to me! That's what happens!" Ryuu growls, "Sorry but the world doesn't revolve around the rainbow you fucking are!"

Taka's eyebrows twitch in frustration,
"Oh for fucks sake! Do I need to say more?! Fine I will! When you turned me down when I purposed. What else could I have done?! Fucking try to convince you else wise?! I've felt empty ever since. Not having you is like having a whole part of me missing. You were what kept me moving onward. You were... no, are everything to me.
I realize now that yes, I pushed you too far. I did fuck everything up. Because I didn't focus on you when you needed me.
All the time I go to you and you help me, but I failed to return that when you did. Because of that you grew worse and worse. I was blinded and felt lost. I acted wrongly, I know I did. And I don't even know if I'm doing the right thing right now by saying all this shit but I had to at some point."
Takashi takes a deep breath.
"Please, at least burn me down before you die so I wouldn't have to watch the one I love the most get slaughtered before my eyes."

Ryuunosuke pauses and stares at Takashi, more tears welling up in his eyes.

"You always wait till last minute don't you?" Ryuunosuke snaps the flames closing in on Takashi.

"I love you, Ryuunosuke. I hope that you find happiness without me if I die here." Takashi says dully and takes a few steps toward the flame.

"Takashi. What are you doing...?!" Ryuunosuke snaps as he watches Takashi move towards the dancing flames. Takashi doesn't reply and gets closer to the flames.

"Takashi?!" Ryuu yells, panic striking his face.

"Oh fuck, what the hell is happening?!" A voice is heard in the distance, four girls popping out a car, the one voice being Jinx's. Takashi steps into the black fire, his body being consumed by it.

I don't feel like I'm in pain... it's just white all around me. He still cares about me... I'm not burning to ash.

Takashi keeps moving forward through the fire, his body slowly starting to emerge from the flames as the fire dies down.
He emerges from the fire to find Ryuunosuke crumpled onto his knees, tears falling down his face.

Stein and Spirit watch from a distance, the girls start to advance as there is little fire left.

"Ryuunosuke... it's okay...'
Takashi says softly and gets down beside Ryuu, tears welling up in his own eyes.
Ryuu replies in a small wails and hiccups, holding his arms out for Takashi. Takashi sits down on the ground and pulls Ryuu onto his lap and holds him there.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry for leaving you... I should've came back for you... I should've listened and taken care of you when you needed me there for you... I promise to do much better for you. I'll never let this happen again."
Takashi murmurs softly, letting Ryuu cry for as long as he needs to.
A few minutes later the girls approach Takashi and Ryuu.

"So, this is where you went..."
Jinx trails off, understanding immediately what's happened.

"I'm sorry Jinx..." Takashi starts but Jinx waves him off.

"You two are irrespirable. It's better this way if you two are together. You practically grew up needing each other... it's okay. Don't say anything else to me about it." Jinx says calmly with a soft grin. Takashi nods and gently lifts Ryuu up in his arms.

"Let's go get him patched up..." Takashi says softly, wincing as he glances at some of the wounds covering Ryuu.

He has social anxiety. I remember now. He hides it so well, I was so caught up in our trip I forgot about it. He grows mean and angry. Not because he's like that, but that's his body's response to get people to stay away from him. Going to a vacation house to share with four other girls wasn't a very good move on my part.
I will think of him more often now. I won't ever let this happen again.
We love each other so.
We can't be separated so easily.
We'll get married, and think of each other.
I won't leave it as a mess.
I could never live with it as a disaster.

I'll fix what I choose.
I won't forget mistakes.
I won't forget to learn from them.
I won't ever forget to pay attention to my lover.
I will love him forever.
