"Shit, I think I took a wrong turn again." The human boy said looking at the map. Travelling without a living guide wasn't his bread and butter. His sense of direction was as messy as his spiky black hair, of course he could use magic.....if he knew how to.

Walking around with his left hand rest on the sword he had attach to his belt and in the other hand holding the map, he stopped to take a break.

"I only have 20 Cents, I think that's enough to buy lunch......if I ever find a village." The spiky haired boy jumped to the top of the tree and sat on a branch. He was lost in a forest, he had been strolling through for the last two weeks. He placed his hand above his eyes to stop the sun rays from going in his eyes to get a better view of the place. He began to look around, seeing all the points he marked so he wouldn't end up going in circles, again. The marks were pieces of his own clothes he had in his bag attached onto sticks place in the highest point of the trees in the area.

"Ah shit, I think I made it worst." He says realizing not only the trees behind him were place with his so called flags but even trees infront of him.

"I can't be that dumb, can I?"

He slowly fell out of the tree but flick to his feet before his head could hit the ground.

"Hm, okay guess I'll have to think of something else."

As he walked further into the forest, the shade began to fade and the sun's rays began to shine on his light brown skin. Pursuing further into the forest not knowing which way he's going, he began to mumble to himself.

"All my life dad trained me how to live out doors, forest, jungle e.t.c. adapting to any terrain yet....I can't follow a simple map."

A roar like sound crossed his ears, he halted in response then hid himself. After about a minute or two he realized nothing was coming his way even though the roar sounded close. The trees in the area began to fall over and huge explosions could be heard. The boy ran towards the direction they were coming from. On his arrival he saw a girl dashing through the dust form from the explosions. She was fast but what could she be running from.

"Roooooaaaar!!!" The dust cleared as the roars got louder. A monster about twice the size of any human the boy had ever seen came out. It had the head of a bull, the body of a man and a huge hammer in its hand. The boy instantly knew what it was, it was a Minotaur.

"Should I stay out of it?"

The girl halted, turning around she faced the Minotaur who was coming for her. The Minotaur swang it's overgrown hammer at her. She jump back dodging the hammer then dash passed the Minotaur within seconds. The raven haired boy then realized she had a thin sword, she then slide it back into it's case. The Minotaur left hand then fell off along with slashes appearing all over it's body.

"Wow, when did she.....?" Behind the tree the boy whispered seeing how skilled the girl was.

The girl then glimpse the boy behind the tree. They made direct eye contact before the girl looked away and began walking.

"Watch out!!" The boy cried.

A Minotaur swang at her and missed because of the boy's interference. He now had the girl in his hands, the Minotaur with it's hand chopped off came swinging left and right. The boy kept on dodging, more and more Minotaurs then came swinging. He was running out of space and the girl in his hands was making it difficult to attack back. He finally took a huge jump back leading the Minotaurs stop their attacking even for a little while.

"Are you an idiot?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Everyone, even the dumb knows Minotaurs travel in packs.
