Like A Star, Reprise

There is ringing in her ears.

Everything is a blur.

She could see colors...yellow, orange, black, blue, white.

She could hear her breathing, coming in slow and deep.

Meg stands in the center of triple T stage looking around. There were people waving at her endlessly, some with tears on their faces, some with smiles, but all of their eyes shone with happiness. Yellow balloons continuously fell from the ceiling, as if it was never ending. There are potpourri everywhere too, a mix of yellow and orange, flying and falling everywhere she looks.

Angel came running towards her, with tears in her eyes, her smlie huge. She was speaking but Meg couldn't hear a thing. Angel bit her lower lip and gave her a tight hug, her tears falling on Meg's shirt. Meg pats Angel's back and tries to give her a big smile.

What was happening?

Nerie came next, giving her a hug just as tight as Angel's, her voice sounding like it came from under the sea, blurry and seemingly muffled. Meg wonders why that is.

She breathes and sees Gab, Junjin, Minwoo and Kate running towards her, arms spread wide. They envelope her in a tight and warm hug, giving her kisses on the cheek and saying things she couldn't hear.

Hyesung walks towards her, a huge smile on his face, he lifts Rhanie's hand towards his heart, Rhanie looking at Meg with a smile on her face. They both utter a word but Meg couldn't understand them.

Meg could hear her heart beating on her chest. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

As if she was being chased, yet, she feels slightly like, flying.

Her eyebrows furrows in the middle of her forehead, she turns around.

A blur.

And then.

She sees him.

Eric bounds towards her. A smile plays on his lips, hie eyes sparkling, and he was looking straight at her. Only her. As if she was the only one in the world who existed.

With a gasp of breath, the voices returns and her vision clears.

There are singing, a chorus of voices, all singing one song over and over again.

Byul.

Meg knew then where she was and what was going on.

Her momentary confusion was brought about her overwhelming emotions. She couldn't believe everything that's happening around her. Didn't she come here today, to support Shinhwa's concert? To celebrate their 19th anniversary. To be here and stand by Eric's side. To experience what it is like to have a concert, to sing to the crowd and thank the fans for their support.

She did all those.

And yet she didn't expect what Eric had in store for her.

"Hey sunshine." Eric says as he stands infront of Meg, a grin spreading on his lips.

Meg looks up and smiles as tears fall down from her eyes into her cheeks, she bites her lower lip, "Hello my moon."

Eric lifts his hand towards her face and wipes the tears drenching it. Meg looks at him, still in disbelief. Eric takes her hand and waves at the crowd, they walk together back to the center of triple T stage, Eric bowing at everyone every now and then. The rest of the boys and girls follow them, waving at the crowd as the crowd waves right back, singing Byul loudly. Meg could feel the hair on her arms standing, her tears falling again, she turns towards the crowd as all of them reach the center. Looking at everyone and then at Eric, Meg gives them all a smile and slowly kneels down to the ground to give the crowd a full bended bow. The rest follow suit, and the crowd gives them all a round of applause. They all stand up, and Meg looks at the monitors all over the concert venue, every single one of them flashed #MEGRICFOREVER. Looking up at Eric, Meg takes his hand and kisses it. Eric gives her a grin and then looks back at the crowd giving a final wave as they all start walking towards the back of the stage and into the waiting room.
