Twisted Love

chapter 1- the alley

"Shit" I muttered as I ran towards the screaming,along with my group whom followed me closely behind. I might be the shortest in the group but I definitely was the fastest. We were making our usual rounds around town making sure any creature of the night wasn't out creating havoc when we heard a women's loud screams coming from an alley a couple of blocks away. Already in fighting mode I took out my gun filled with silver bullets,then I turned to Luke and Weston signaling them to head up on to the rooftops. If we were dealing with a werewolf or vampire attack, going up high would be a definite advantage.  

The screaming had come to an abrupt stop,I knew this was going to be bad. As I approached the entrance of the alley I could see my group already positioning themselves on the rooftops of the buildings next to the alley with a quick nod I entered the alley only to find a trail of blood leading to a lifeless body of a young girl who looked no more then nineteen years old. As I kept walking in I saw a dark silhouette of a tall muscular man behind the alley's dumpster. Its eyes were glowing a bright red color. No matter how many times I fought these creatures, i still couldn't get over how there eyes glowed almost making them hypnotizing. So I guess I'm kicking vampire ass tonight I thought smiling to myself. Without a single word I launched myself at the monster that stood before me, my fist colliding with it's jaw. Stunned it stumbled back seeming to come out of it's trance like state. 

When dealing with a creature of the night there was no better time to attack, then when they barely finnished feeding due to the fact that they never see it coming and secondly when they're feeding there enjoying there body being engulfed in blood slowly taking it all in . As they let it flow through there body, some get so caught up in the feeling that they get into some weird trance state which I loved breaking.

     The leech growled and moved into a crouched position ready to pounce, this just encouraged me more,I moved swiftly and fast. With a wide smile I ended up ninja kicking him in the chest, it didn't seem happy at all due to the fact it growled and launched itself on top of me baring it's long fangs inches away from my neck. Suddenly the beast was thrown off of me.  I quickly got up to see Luke and the vamp going at it. Punches were being thrown and kicks were being swung, unfortunately the leech was faster and stronger than luke. I hurriedly picked up my gun that had been knocked out of my hand when the leech attacked me,trying to get a good aim I pulled the trigger letting the bullet hit the vampires arm. It yelped in pain going on all fours as the bullet released the silver into it's blood stream severely weakening it. Taking advantage if it's vulnerability Luke and Weston tied both it's arms with a silver chain which started to burn it's flesh.  

"Well, well,well what do we have here, stupid leech haven't you realized you've broken the law and now I'm obligated to kill you" I said in a taunting voice but instead of speaking the blood sucker just gave a low menacing growl. Angered I ended up punching him in the jaw again.  

" I demand to know what coven your from or if you even belong to one, are you a rogue then" I asked demanding an answer.  

The leech still didn't answer, not wanting to deal with this I figured we weren't going to receive an answer I took out my gun and shot it twice in the heart and cut its throat with my knife. It yelped then went limp falling to the ground dead. Knowing it wasn't completely dead I told Luke and Weston to set it on fire. You see to fully and completely kill a creature of the night you must first shoot or stab it in the heart with silver othen you must cut its throat and finally burn the remains. I know it sounds harsh but it has to be done when dealing with any rogue its our duty to take action before anyone else is killed.

As I left Luke and Wes to finish the job I walked over to the girl hoping I could find a pulse but unfortunately I didn't, the leech sucked her dry. The only blood on her was her blood soaked clothes and hair, looks like the leech didnt have any manners. I picked up her purse trying to find some sort of identification,I pulled her wallet out which contained her I.d. I saw a young girl smiling in the picture, her name was Amanda junts, she had recently turned 19, she had light brown hair and dark brown eyes. Poor thing didn't even see it coming, judging by her appearance she was probably coming out of work late. I started to think about all her family and how devastated they would be but I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder, turning around I saw a very exhausted Luke, his hair was a complete mess and he had cuts ant bruises all over his face, but despite all of that he still looked very handsome. Luke was very tall standing at about 6 feet, he was lean yet very muscular, he had raven dark hair and the bluest eyes i'd ever seen and to top it all off he had goregous tan skin making him look like a calvin klein model.
