It took me seconds to realize you left...
It took me minutes to find out why...
It took me hours to apologize to my heart...
It took me days to accept that you're gone...
It took me weeks to accept that we're not together anymore...
It will take me months to accept that you're not coming back...
It will take me years to get over you...
But it would take me a longer than a lifetime to forget you
Why when people get out of relationships,,, they say they regret dating or even loving that person
I say you should never regret loving something and/or someone that made you laugh or smile or that made you actually happy
And you did make me happy so thank you
I'll never forget nor regret you
