"Mom...just take a left here. No, stop the car I can walk. Mom seriously, this is my first day of work, not yours."

My mom pushed back a loose piece of curly hair from my face, "I am just proud my little baby is growing up."

"I am 18...and I am only babysitting not working for multimillionaire cooperation. Just wait until I'm out of University," I smiled as I opened the car door. My cell phone plumped to the ground. "How lovely," I muttered wiping off my gravel dusted screen.

"Bye sweetheart! I'll be back to get you in a couple of hours."

I still don't know she just didn't let me drive..ugh. I checked my dim cell phone screen to read the address correctly.

"1754 Cherry Ann Boulevard."

I approached the stairs and  put on a big smile as the door opened and a familiar middle aged man grinned from ear to ear.

"Hello Hun," he greeted me before I could reach the door.

"Hi, Mr. Lancaster. How are you?" I crossed the threshold into the stunning home. There sat a distracted 10 year playing his game and a chatty 12 year old who never spoke a word.

"Just call me Lou. I'm well darling. I have a date tonight and I am so excited. He is just cute as pie."

I smiled as Mr. Lancaster bubbled up with joy talking about his date. His date was a fresh-face 20 something year old with 7 tattoos and a motorcycle. He was head over heads.

"Thank you so much for baby sitting, Amorina. I would have my son do it but you how teenagers are. Once you're 18  you are never home."

I laughed awkwardly to myself as I thought about how I sit in the house all day binge watching my favorite shows.

"Well let me introduce you to my kids," Mr. Lancaster walked over to his daughter," This is Milly." Milly smiled and looked up from her phone.

"Yes I am his lovely daughter from his 2nd failed marriage as a straight male."

"Milly!" Mr. Lancaster frowned. Milly rolled her eyes and her thumbs moved a mile a minute once her attention refocused on her phone.

Mr. Lancaster took me over to his youngest son, "This is my son Mylo." Mylo smiled and greeted me with a handshake.

"Hello chocolate cake."

"Mylo! Her name is Amorina."

"I know I heard her name earlier dad but she is pretty and her skin is like chocolate cake."

"I'm sorry for my children," Mr. Lancaster smiled shyly.

"It is fine Mr. Lan- I mean Lou."

*Ding-Dong*

Mr. Lancaster jumped as his face flushed bright red, "I guess my date is here."

"I'm sure it will be great Lou!"

"I hope so. I'll be back around 2 am." I gave Lou a reassure smile as he disappeared towards the front door.

I turned my attention to the two sessile beings in front of me.

Mylo smiled, "Tell my brother I call dibs on you when he gets home okay?"

I laughed and nodded my head.

"Mr. Lancaster left $75 dollars for food, go crazy." Milly said without looking up from her screen.

"Where?" I asked looking around.

She pointed in a vague direction. I rolled my eyes and eventually found it.

"What would you guys like to eat?"

"Just call this number and ask for the usually." Milly actually moved and handed me a menu.

"Make sure they don't forget my brother's order." Mylo said in a worried voice.

I called the number on the menu and asked for the usual. The man over the phone asked if Monroe would like his order as well. I just assumed that was the older brother and replied yes.

The food came in less than 20 minutes. It smelled delicious. All American Chinese food.

After the kids at they dispersed. Mylo disappeared into his room while Milly went out on the deck.

I sat in the main living room watching some TV. Soon 1 am rolled around and surprisingly both kids were sleep. Milly has to get her "beauty" rest while Mylo wanted to sleep so that the morning pancakes would come sooner.

It was cute since Mylo left me a card he made while in his room. It read "I hope you come back because I think I love you."

This kid was so adorable.

My thought were interrupted by a rattling at the front door. Mr. Lancaster must be back already.

I head to the front door to greet him but instead I watch a drunken boy collapse to the ground.

His words slurred as he picked himself up. He was a hot mess.

"Uh are you Monroe?"

"Who wants to know," he drunkenly slurred.

"The babysitter," I crossed my arms as he walked past me grumbling to himself.

"Well FUCK the babysitter," he shouted as he walked down the hall.

"Excuse me? Can you please keep it down, your brother and sister are trying to sleep."

"Oh Mr. Prince and Ms. Princess...fucking woo-hoo."

I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and poured Monroe a cup of water. I handed it to him.

"Okay ms. Babysitter what is your name?"

"Amorina."

He held out his sweaty hand, "I'm Monroe but you probably already knew that."

I rejected his hand shake, "What time is it babysitter?"

Time for 2am to come around.

"Where's my faggot father?"

"Seriously!" I shouted. "Is that anyway to talk about your father?"

"Calm down sitter damn. Is he on that date with Mr. Motorcycle?"

"Why should I tell you. You are obviously high out of your mind and smell of booze. Your cognitive abilities are impaired."

"Okay ms. dictionary. I'm going to bed."

Monroe stumbled up stairs just as his father walked in the house.

"Hi Rina..darling. Was that Monroe?"

I nodded and peered towards the stairs.

"Here is your money. $200 for your help plus you had to deal with Monroe. He can be a pain in the ass." Mr.  Lancaster swayed.

"Thank you Lou. Did you enjoy your date?"

"Indeed." he smiled as he walked me to the front door.

"Can you come back tomorrow and maybe spend the night? I know it is a Friday but I really need this.I'll even pay you double."

"Sure, of course," who was I to say no to extra money.

I saw my mother waiting outside waving for me to hurry.

How am I going to tell her about spending the night?
