A jolt woke Tom up. He opened his eyes. Charlie was grabbing the side of his seat, and so were most of the passengers.
Tom sat up straight and grabbed the seat. Brightly colored Oxygen masks fell from the ceiling. Tom grabbed one and held it against his trembling lips.
"We are experiencing some turbulence." A voice said. "We are sorry for the inconvenience."
The plane dipped down sharply. Several people screamed.
Tom gripped the seats harder. His fingers hurt. He was terrified. And then the front of the plane ripped off.
