asking you out

Ben-
It was just a normal summer day, you know, scorching hot. And it was only going to get worse. You layed in the shade of a tree because your mom/dad thought it was okay to kick you out in 100 degree weather. Apparently they had a surprise planned and didn't want you to see, so now you where out here dieing. You layed on the grass feeling like your skin was melting off,you starred up at the sky wishing you could fist fight the sun. When your thoughts where cut off by a certain boy. "Hey (y/n), what are you doing here alone?" You glanced over at him. "What does it look like, I'm dieing." He sat down next to you. "Me too." You sat up and noticed he had ditched his jacket and just had a black t-shirt on and a pair of jeans. "You know you wouldn't be as hot if you where wearing something other then black." He glanced at his shirt then back at you. "Well it was uh . . . The only thing clean." 'Of course' he cleared his throat "So uh, it's going to be a lot warmer tomorrow.  I was wondering if you'd like to go to the lake with me? Kevin and Gwen won't be there, they're pretty busy." He smiled awkwardly "sure, so is this a date?" His cheeks flush "I-It can be, unless you don't want it to be a date!" You feel your pocket buzz, and you take out your phone.

You stood up "It's a date then, I gotta go, text me later. Okay?" You walked home wondering what the fuck was so important.

Albedo-
It had been about three months since you had taken Albedo in, you both talked a lot. You now knew why he looked like an albino ben 10, and that he was actually a Galvin. He found out that you where a witch in training, the reason his wounds healed to quickly. He spent most most of his time trying to figure out how to get his body back, and you spent most of your time trying new spells. You had come to care about him, as he had to you. And it was quite obvious he feelings fir you, but he didn't realize it. One night he had fallen asleep on the desk you gave him. You had placed a blanket over his sholders because he to heavy to carry and you didn't want to wake him. Another night you had fallen asleep on the bench in your spell room. He picked you up bridal style and carried you to your room. You sat in your living room with your cats curled up on either side of you while you read. "(Y/n)?" You looked up from your book as he walked into the room and sat down on the couch next to you. "Yes, Albedo dear?" He sat up straight "we hardly spend time together, and I surprisingly do care about you. You are the only human I do care about, we should clear a time we can spend together." You set your book down on your lap and ushered your cats away. "Do you mean, a date?" "I am not familiar with human terminology." You let out a small chuckle "well then, that sounds great. I have an idea."
