One Sided Marriage

Prologue

"Stop worrying about her!"

"You're the one I love.." he continued as the disappointment was clear in his voice. He often used that tone to make me feel stupid.

"I see the way you look at her!" I yell back in a defending tone. The same defending tone I use when he makes me feel stupid.

"You're the one I love" he says again but now with a smirk solidly glued on his face in hope of forgiveness. His voice is raspy and flirty and make the butterflies in my stomach go wild.

My back is turned away from him and I feel his warm, big hands reach around my waist and his head leaning on my neck as he kisses me lightly.

I can't help but to smile because of the butterflies. The stupid butterflies.

End of flashback

'Bell rings'

"FinALleY!" Syd shouts.

"Wanna come to the arcade?"

"Another day" I answer without even considering coming.

"Oh come on!"

"It's the weekend!" She looks at me with a questioning look.

"You can't be sad forever!" She continues without even thinking about the fact that the classroom is still full of students.
Everyone looks our way and Syd looks at me apologeticly. I look at her with a serious face trying not to tear up.

I leave the classroom before the tears escape my eyes. I intended to go to the bathroom but I knew his class was close to the bathrooms.

Tears again. The tears I try so hard to hold in all the time. Are now flowing down my cheeks.

No one would notice if I were out late since my parents left for a buisniss trip this morning.

I reached the small store.

"Can I taste yours?"

I nod at him. "But don't take a big bite.." and before I could finish my sentence he took a big bite.

"Yahh!" "Jeon Jungkook!" I shout at him and before I could attack him he runs and I follow him.

End of flashback

Even the convenience store reminds me of him.

I walk inside and reach the counter.
The cashier lady looks at me and smiled softly.
"Two vanillascoops and two chocolatescoops?" She asks.

"Uhm-mm no just two chocolatescoops"

"Oh not one for the boyfriend today?" She asks warmly.

I didn't want the woman to feel bad so I just nodded, forcing a smile. At this point I was good at forcing smiles, making them look real. I would say it was a talent of mine by now.

"Here you go" she smiled at me with her warm smile again.

I reach for the money in my pocket.

"No need" she says and holds her hand around mine.

I look at her with a confused expression.

"On the house"

I smile at her. "Thank you"

"To being single!" She smiles and take her coffee cup. "Cheers" she says and smiles at me.

"I-im not.."

"It's okay sweetheart" she warmly smiled at me.

I looked at the woman with a confused expression. Tears were foaming up in my eyes and I turned around, speedwalking to the exit.
