When I got home the whole house smelled like home cooked food, wich only ment my parents must be home. I walked into the kitchen and was greated with a warm hug form my mother.

"Hello sweetheart!" She smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Why are you home so early?" I asked in confusion because I knew my parents was supposed to be away for another week.

My mom turned around and continued cooking, avoiding my question.

"How was your day at school?" She asked trying to change the subject.

I didn't answer her wich made her turn around to see me clicking on my phone. That always workes when she avoiding my questions.

"We're having a dinner party today" she said calmly.

"And?" I asked because I knew there were always hidden intentions behind our famous dinner parties.

"I want it to be a surprise" she answered me in hope of stopping my curiosity.

"Is it some dirty buisniss?" I asked as took a bite of a apple and sat down on the dining table.

"Not at all" she said as innocently as possible, wich only made me question her weird behaviour.

"Mom..." I asked again in hope of her telling me what she had planned out.

"Can you help me with the food?" She asked as she stirred in one of the bowls.

I overlooked her and started walking against the staircase.

"Be ready in two hours. You're gonna wear the light blue dress that hangs inside your room" she said before I started walking upstairs.

I really didn't feel like dressing up for some stupid dinner party for my parents.

-

I got ready and were lying on my bed, scrolling through my phone when I heard the doorbell ring. I took that as my cue to walk downstairs and greet our guests.

I walked slowly down the stairs so I wouldn't slip in my new uncomfortable heels. I must say the outfit wasn't horrible.
Even though I had to dress up for these types of parties I always got new pretty clothes.

When I got closer to the entrance I heared familiar voices talking friendly to each other. I couldn't put my finger on it so I kept walking untill I recognized the family as my eyes met Jungkook's.

When our eyes met it was almost as if my body froze to ice only to melt again from the rage burning inside me.

Jungkook. Right there. In front of me.

Mine and Jungkook's parents talked sweetly to each other while we were eating. I could see that Jungkook were on his phone as it light up his face because of the dimmed light in the room.

Jungkook's mother noticed and quietly scoolded him after a while. I could see the irritation in Jungkook's eyes as he put away his phone. He glanced over at me with disgust in his face. I overlooked him as I focused on the conversation our parents were deeply interested in now.

"So we have decided"  my mom started and before she could finish Jungkook's mom continued with "you two are getting married" she ended the sentence excitedly. It took me some seconds to realize. I didn't look over to Jungkook but only proved he was as shocked as me.
