Why do people bully others? All my life, I was told that people bully others because it makes them feel better. I was told that they get bullied at home and bully others so they can see how it feels.
The truth is everyone has insecurities. You're too fat. You're too tall. You're too short. You're too skinny. You're too smart. You're too dumb. You're too this. You're too that.
No one is perfect. Everybody has flaws. For example, I eat a lot and the price I paid for that was getting overweight. My mom has tall relatives and my dad was just a tall man. So I'm too tall for a almost 14 year old. I'm often mistaken for a 17 or 18 year old. Hell, one-time I was mistaken for a woman in her twenties.
I'm not perfect, just like everyone else reading this.
My own biological father apparently hates me so much that I never met him and some one else had to fill his shoes.
So many people get bullied because of their clothes, skin tone (I don't believe in races), religion, sexuality, hair, and size.
Humans have flaws, humans are not perfect.
Be you, stop putting yourself in boxes. Stop being ashamed of who you are. Embrace yourself. Don't be afraid to stand up to your bully. Be a nerd (if you are one, stay one. I love being a nerd), be the one to leave everyone in the dust.
Stay who you are and don't build your walls too high. Someone will save you.
I know this because, I was saved too.
I miss you, Bray. I hope you're reading this.
I hope this helps people who suffer getting bullied. I still do, but Bray and I go through it together.
Take my advice: If you stay who you are, words will never hurt you. Just laugh along with them.
