Most people say words don't hurt, but I know from experience that's not true.
I can always look them and say, "Hey. I don't appreciate that."
I've been bullied for as long as I remembered. When I was younger, I cried. But now I just take up for myself. It doesn't work much, but throw something at them. That'll help.
Even so, I still stay quiet. So now when someone laughs at me, I'm going to laugh with them.
It'll make me more confident. I think.
Maybe it's me, I don't know. Maybe I don't fully understand myself.
Just be you! It's up to them to realize that they're being bullied.
For you bullies out there: No one deserves to get picked on because of how they look. If you catch yourself making hurtful comments, maybe think about what you did.
