Only the beginning...?!

My name is Chloe. Chloe Anderson. My life? An adventure. But that's not important, because the ride will last a lifetime, so get comfortable.

It was a year ago, when life was simple.

"Mom, where in the world are my shorts? The denim ones?" I asked, impatiently.

"Which pair?" She shouted back.

"Never mind! I've found it. " I sighed.

So I put on my casual, Chloe style outfit for a lazy, summer day. Wasn't that a sentence. The outfit? Oh, yeah. Just a simple crop top, with some short shorts and flip flops. And I went out the door, eating a pear.

"Oh, hun, you look fantastic." My mom smiled.

"The feeling is mutual." I smiled back. Me and my mom have a very tight relationship. And I loved her for it.

"Even if you make my day with compliments, I'm not giving you any extra money. " She winked.

Moms.

Knock knock knock!

The door? Who could possibly be here this early? It's only 7 am!

"I'll get that, hun." Mom cheered.

She opened the door to my Grandma.

"Mom! What are you doing here so early?" My mom asked.

"I thought I'd stop by before Chloe goes to Jenny Hila's house. You know, the usual love. " Grandma said, obviously very happy.

"Grandma, I'm 16, I'll be alright." I assured her.

"I just don't trust Jenny's brother!" She frowned.

"Mom, just because he is a "swear addict", doesn't mean he's not a nice person. " Mom assured Grandma.

"Well, grandma, I'm alright. Lets hug and then I'll go." I said.

I hugged mom and grandma, warm feelings filling my body. I'm a sucker for hugs and kisses.
