Previously:
"Oh......i thought we were closer than just best friends like brother and sister or something. Sorry, you don't feel that way. Now I wish I didn't help you pick up your stuff that day, I gotta go." Marinette said sadly on the verge of tears, realizing Nino didn't consider them to be anything more than just friends. Nino realized his mistake and figured it's best if he left and gave Mari some space.
"Soooooo that went well?" Adrien said as he tried to lighten the mood. Alya realized it'd be best if Adrien consoled Marinette because she (Alya) needed to smack some sense into Nino to make him confess to Marinette.
Aaaannnd Now:
Based on what Nino told Adrien, whenever Marinette is upset or needs some space she goes to the park across the street and designs. That's exactly what he saw her doing. Under the shade of a nearby tree designing and looking up occasionally.
" Hey Mari, you ok?" Adrien asked cautiously slowly walking to Marinette. She stopped to look at him her eyes a bit red from crying and her hair out of her pigtails hanging loosely on her shoulders a few strands framing her face.
" Huh? o-oh hey Adrien. Y-yea I th-think I'm ok, just a little upset you know?" Mari replied and hiccuped slightly from crying.
(does that happen to anyone else?.....maybe....no......kk I'm an awkward duck 🤓🙃😬)
"I'm little upset it sounded like Nino didn't see us as close as I saw us, I even have a slight crush on him since maybe 2 years ago? But it doesn't matter he doesn't see us that way so yeah." Marinette explained as she sighed and sunk closer to the ground.
"It's ok but I can tell Nino does see you guys as more than just 'best friends' he totally wants to go out with you." Adrien encourages.
"Ok, I think I'll confess to Nino hopefully this goes well." Marinette said as she stood up ready to find Nino.
"I know it will go well maybe you could ask him to see a movie with you tonight or something." Adrien said ready to text Alya to let her know Operation Ninette is back.
" OK, thanks for your help and encouragement Adrien if--when this goes well, you'll be the first to know about it." Marinette half yelled as she ran across the park to find Nino.
Ok Alya Operation Ninette is back on track. Adrien texted Alya after encouraging Mari.
Thx now I can set Nino straight for almost breaking up his and Marinette's relationship. Alya replied to Adrien and went out to find Nino and (possibly) break his face for almost ruining Operation Ninette.
