Janae's POV:
My dad and I moved out the day after my mom's funeral. My dad said we were moving to what previously was the "safe" house for the USSA. When we arrived there was already new recruits there. I couldn't help but notice there were only about ten kids and twelve teenagers. We walked towards an area with a bunch of seats and couches where everyone was gathered."Alright, let's get to work" said my dad. We just got here and my dad's already planning his attacks, especially when my mom's funeral had just happened. "We need to make sure we leave a mark to scare those bastards" my dad yelled. I can't believe he had the nerve to be this way. I ran out the building and sat on a rock outside.
It was quiet out here, no war, no problems, just peace. "What are you doing out here?" I heard an unfamiliar voice say. I turned around and saw a tall teenage boy, with brown hair, and brown eyes. "Just looking at the sky I guess" I said. "Well I'm out here because I can't stand the idea of fighting ourselves. The only reason I'm here is because my dad didn't like the way things were working back at USSA, but he never really keeps a job anyway" the boy said. "My dad's the whole reason this anti group exists".
"Ah, so you're the famous Janae Ortega, I'm Alex. To be honest not a big fan of this whole thing, as mentioned". I was happy to know I'm not the only one that didn't agree with all of this. "I'm sorry for putting you in this position Alex, my dad's just really hurting". "Don't sweat it Ortega, I understand". I sure hope he did
