Alison never actually had been alone in the woods, by herself. Standing along the treeline to the never-ending shades of green, she is feeling alone as ever. Running, one step. Another, until multiple steps are put down. The world around her is ingulfed into the woods. Does she want this life that is ahead of her or her hazardous life in the present? Alison did not want to think about her past, just her future.
Two Days earlier
Beep Beep Beep. Alison wakes up to the red flashes of the alarm clock time, 5:30 a.m. Steadily she gets up and ready. Quickly getting dressed, she saunters out of the house for a run around her neighborhood, Stinton, like usual. One street after the other, Williams, Burg ave, around pine street to Main street. Eight miles in total. Alison slows to a stop and catches her breath, taking a swig of water. Out of the corner of her eye she sees a flash of sliver. That was too small for a car. She was brainstorming even though it was probably nothing to worry about. Her therapist warned her about this, overworrying can lead to more health problems. With Alison's many disorders, she did not need any more. Cutting the worry out of her mind, she ends her break. By the time she gets home, it is already 6:40.
" How was your run? Your getting faster." Alison's guardian says, clearly impressed with her training.
