You're A What!?

In The Beginning

In the beginning, there were three slightly unstable people who walked into the school library.

The school library had a showcase shelf full of books and the theme was constantly changing. The current theme was LGBTQ+ and thus the bookshelf was decorated with those sorts of books.

Unbeknownst to two of the group, there was a book called "My Fairy Godmother is a Drag Queen".

But the third friend noticed.

"Hey, guys! There was a book on that shelf called 'My Fairy Godmother is a Drag Queen'!" He whispered, nudging his two friends.

But the two friends, Pluto and Drama, completely misheard.

"WHAT!?" Pluto yelled, a major fan of Harry Potter.

"Harry Potter is a Drag Queen!?" Drama yelped a bit quieter. It was a library after all. Both friends had misheard as the same thing.

"What no. I said 'My Fairy Godmother' not 'Harry Potter'."

"Oh." Drama said, sitting down at a table near the back. The trio was there for a social studies lesson. The last class of the day.

Once the lesson was finished, on the way out, Gray pointed out the book he was talking about.

"Ohhhhh." Pluto and Drama exclaimed in unison, realization dawning on them.

"We should make a story about this," Gray said, excitement burning in his eyes.

"We can put it on my account I suppose. That way people might read it quicker..." Drama suggested quietly, already beginning to regret opening her mouth.

"We'll need access to your account then," Pluto said from beside Drama, bag in hand.

"Uh, hell no."

"We won't look at your stories," Gray promised. Gray was one of Drama's readers, which Drama found frustrating sometimes for she couldn't write or plot her stories with Gray sitting next to her. But Drama couldn't complain about Gray being a Poki fan. Not at all.

"Or we could just create a document and I'll copy and paste." And thus it was decided. The trio parted ways.

Once Drama was home, she started writing the prologue and the very thing you're reading right now. Gray came along and started showing terrifying images of Harry as a Drag Queen for a cover.

Gray hounded Drama to publish it. He desperately wanted to know how her fans would react. First Drama told Gray to make a cover, for he was the one with all the resources. Out of the whole group, Drama was probably the most useless person with graphics, both Gray and Pluto were pretty good at it.

Drama gave Gray a warning in the group chat of 'With the cover, please don't scare off the readers before they even get there'.

Drama sighed, giving up, resigned to her fate and decided to just publish it. The cover was better than she could create.

Oh, gods, what have we started... she thought as she hit 'publish'.

The story has been co-written by us, three idiots. Pluto, NightSkyArcher12 and I, borntosingwithdrama. One of us will update a chapter every week. Probably on Mondays given that that is when this has been published.
