Nash's POV
Finally we get to see Lesliee it feels like forever that I haven't seen her. I get up from the chair because I've been sitting down for quit some time. I walk around the room just thinking of today and it gets me blue. ( sad)
"Uhhhh", I say
"What's wrong ", Carter said
"It's all my fault that were here.
"No it's not your fault you need to stop blaming yourself ", Crystal said
"But how can I not blame myself. I failed in protecting her", I said
Just when I said that the doctor walks in.
"No it's no ones fault. I don't want any of you to blame yourself ", Dr. McCormick said.
"When can we see her ?", I asked
"You could see her really soon. As soon as they are finished making sure that everything is alright. I will send you to the room that she is in, okay", Dr.McCormick said
"Yah, okay ", everyone responded
"I'll be back, " Dr.McCormick
With that he leaves.
I'm just so anxious to see her.
Everliee's POV (My Mom)
I can't wait to see Lesliee. We're just going to go catch our plane back to California. (Were in Vegas). The kids don't know what's going on yet so I'm trying to keep calm. I wish I could go visit her right now but by the time we get their visiting hours are going to be over.
Dr.McCormick's POV
I just went to go and check up on Lesliee and I think I'm going to tell her friends that they can't see her today. I know I told them they could see her but I think it's best if they go home, rest, and come back tomorrow more calm. So I'm on my way to the room they are waiting in. When I reach the door I stop, and try to think how to tell them that they can't see her.
"Hey how's everyone hanging in their?", I asked
" A bit better, but can we see her now?", they asked
" Well that's why I kinda came", I said
" Is everything alright ?", Crystal asked
" Yes according to her charts. But I wanted to ask if you guys could come back tomorrow in the morning when visiting hours start. So you can get some rest, and can come back tomorrow a bit more calm. I think it will be better, and by the time we get their you'll only be able to see her by a glance, and leave right away. I shouldn't have told you guys that you were going to be able to see her.
Their face expressions changed.
"Here I can do some thing. How about I put that you guys are her family, and from tomorrow if you guys like your welcome to stay passed visiting hours", I said.
That didn't change anything they still looked upset. I be upset if they told me I could go see my friend, and end up changing their mind last minute. But as doctors you have to make some harsh decisions. It's never always going to be fair.
" Well I guess we have to listen since we aren't going to be able to see her. Thanks anyway Dr. ", they said. Everyone but Nash.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow ", I said
With that I left
Nash's POV
Dr.McCormick said if we can come back tomorrow. Of course I'm coming tomorrow but, I can't wait until tomorrow. I want to see her today.
"Nash we should start heading out",Carter says
"Okay, but just wait for me in here I'll be right back", I said
"Okay", Carter said
I need to find the doctor. But where could he be?
I look up and he's their across the hall.
"Doctor McCormick ", I said
He turns around and says
"Visiting hours are over in 2 minutes"
"Yah, I know but I have to ask you a few things. I was really hoping I could still be able to see her even from a glance. I just really want to see her. ", I said
" I understand that you really want to see your friend. She's your friend right?", he said
"Yah", I relied
" Let me tell you something okay. I'm sure her other friends would like to see her too. But she's not quite ready to have visitors", Dr.McCormick said
"But what do you mean that she isn't ready for visitors?", I asked
" When I came back and told you that if you guys could come back tomorrow. I had just checked on her and she has been moved to intensive care. So that means nurses are going to be coming every 15 minutes checking her blood pressure, and making sure everything is running smoothly. I don't think you would want to see her with all thoses things going on. But by the morning we are moving her to another room. In that room she won't be so drugged up", Dr.MCCormick said
"What do you mean by so drugged up?", I asked
"Well right now she she's getting mediation for the pain, and mediation for her surgery. We're hoping she can have it tomorrow ", he replied
" She's having surgery?", I asked
"Yah their is a blood leak in her brain, and if we don't do surgery in the morning it could get worse ", he explained
"So what are you doing meanwhile her surgery?", I asked
" We are going to have many doctors check up on her. They are trained for these types of situations."he said
"So I can't see her right", I said
" Sorry son but I'm going to have to say no", he replied
" Okay well thanks for your time. I have just one last question", I said
"Okay, go right ahead, ask me", he said
" What time is her surgery?", I asked
" We don't know yet, we first have to ask her parents, and from their we have to wait to know what to do", Dr. McCormick said
"Okay thanks Dr. again", I said
" No problem, drive safe home", he said
"Thanks", I said. With that I leave to the room where Carter, Diana, Crystal, and Ana where waiting.
I guess I'm going to have to understand I'm not see her today. (In a sad tone)
I walk in the room sad
Carter's POV
"What's wrong Nash ?", I asked
"Well I really wanted to see her today, so I went to go look for the doctor. We talked and he told me that I wasn't able to see her today", he began to explain
" what did he tell you", I asked
" He told me everything. But he told me that she isn't in condition to be visited at the moment (with a sadder tone) ", he said
" Are you going to be okay ?", I asked him
