Seol-jin's POV:
I walk down the streets with my twin sister, Hye-jin. We look exactly the same, so people often confuse us. I was born 12 minutes earlier than Hye-jin. There are only a few differences in our appearance: I'm a centimeter shorter, my eyes are a darker brown, and my hair is slightly longer. Other than that, we look exactly the same, some even say that one of us is a clone of the other. When we walk downtown, I notice a flyer. It reads, "BigHit new girl group, auditions on July 20th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Results will be announced on July 20th at 10:00 pm. Get your registration forms online." "Hye-jin!" I exclaim. "Seol-jin, what is it?" Hye-jin asks. "Look at this," I say. Hye-jin gasps. "Oh my God! You have to audition!" She's the only one in my family who supports my dream of becoming an idol.
"What would eomma and appa think?" I ask. "Seol-jin, you've been dreaming of this opportunity this whole life!" Hye-jin exclaims. "Clearly this is fate! Now you better not pass this up because this may never happen again." "Alright, if you insist," I say. I grab the flyer and walk with my twin.
"You know I have to fly to Seoul for this, right?" I ask Hye-jin. "Ya," she says. "I'll support you from here in Busan while you audition. Tell me if you get in or not!" "Arraseo," I say.
Hye-jin's POV:
Seol-jin has to audition for BigHit! I know she will get in because she's been training her whole life, and she's really good at singing and dancing. If she doesn't get in, I will lose it. Seol-jin is way too amazing to not get in.When we get home, I get really excited. Seol-jin is forced to tell eomma and appa what happened today. "Seol-jin, are you sure this is what you want?" Eomma asks her. "Yes, Eomma!" she exclaims. "The other girls who will audition would have been training for years," Appa says. "You haven't even trained." "Only because you guys won't pay for me to train," she says. "You know I can sing, rap, and dance! I sing and rap at church all the time, and I'm always front and center in my dance group! You know I can do it!"
"Seol-jin, it's best you don't audition," Eomma says. "Why the hell do you expect so much from us?" "You should look into doctoral school," Appa says. "This Kpop career won't last you forever. You couldn't do it if you tried." "Just let me dream, guys!" Seol-jin yells. "Please just leave me alone!"
Seol-jin runs to her room crying. I come up to comfort her. "You know, we don't have to tell them about you auditioning," I say. "They always treat me like shit, and they treat you like you're perfect!" Seol-jin tells me. Tears stream down her face. "Just fill out this application," I tell her. "They'll accept. You are absolutely amazing!" "Arraseo," she says.

I train beforehand with Hye-jin in case they accept my audition. Hye-jin tells me to keep practicing so I can get better every time before the audition. "Your voice is perfect," she tells me. "Thank you," I say. Dinner is ready.
For dinner we have fried chicken, my favorite. I eat my food fast. "Seol-jin, don't eat so fast!" Eomma scolds me. "If you eat so fast, you'll have a stroke." "Or maybe a heart attack," Appa adds. I sit there quietly. Hye-jin drags me up to my room.
I check my laptop. "Wait, I have an email from BigHit?!?!" I exclaim. "Really?!?!" Hye-jin exclaims. "What are you waiting for? Read it!!!" "Ok, ok!" I say. I did not expect them to reply so fast!
I read it silently to myself. "They want me to come to the auditions!" I say. "When are auditions?" Hye-jin asks me. "The 20th of July," I say. "Oh my God, that's in three days!" Hye-jin exclaims. "We better get you a plane ticket fast! And we'll see if you can stay with uncle Jaehyung for a little bit. Let's call him right now!"
We dial uncle Jaehyung's number. We ask if I can stay with him for a few days. "Yes, of course you can stay with me!" he exclaims. I like him a lot more than my actual parents. Sometimes he's more of a dad towards me than my actual dad is.
Hye-jin looks into plane tickets. "There's a flight available tomorrow at 9:00 am," she says. "Do you think you can wake up that early?" "Yes," I say. Hye-jin helps me pack all of my things.
"You know I'm never coming back, right?" I ask Hye-jin. "Yes," she says. "I will visit you, though." "You have to!" I say. "Wait...how will we pretend like I'm still there?" "Me!" Hye-jin says. "I think I can pull off pretending to be you. I know you well enough." "They'll probably find out, but you can try," I say. "Ok," Hye-jin says. We both fall asleep.
