Seol-jin's POV:
I still can't believe we're starting to become famous! It's just so weird to think about. This has never happened to me in my life, so of course I'm not used to it. I should ask someone that's been famous for a while, maybe Cheol-min or a member of BTS, how it feels to start to become famous.I decide to look at our Instagram. The comment section on our photos, to be more specific. "I love you, Seol-jin 💕💕" one of the comments reads. I can't believe this, can you? "You girls give me so much joy" another comment reads. This brings joy to my tiny heart!
I call the girls downstairs. "Look at these comments," I say. They slowly read the comments. "You have the most appreciation comments, Seol-jin," Mi Sun says. "That's not possible!" I exclaim. "You all deserve it more than me!" "Nah!" Nari exclaims. "You totally deserve it! You had so much courage to get out of your shell, even to leave your house, to audition for this! It wouldn't be like you to miss an opportunity."
We then look at Kpop Profiles. I notice that my name is first, since I'm the leader. Our profiles have very little facts. We decide to look at the poll, "Who's your bias in Mystical Dream?" I'm first, again?! WHAT?!?!
Mi Sun comes in second, I'm not surprised. "What is this even based on?" Jinhee asks. "Probably looks," Malee says. "That would explain why Eun is last." Eun leaves the room and grabs a bottle of champagne. "C'mon, dude, it was just a joke!" Malee exclaims. "That's still not very nice, Mal," Chiaki says.
Eun drinks straight out of the champagne bottle. A lot. "Ahh, that's so good!" she says. "Reminder-don't drink from that bottle," Jinhee says. "Is that what's important now?" Chiaki asks. "Eun-Kyung, get in here!"
Eun-Kyung comes back into the living room with a bottle of champagne. "You know, that Kpop...whatever... is wrong," Chiaki says. "We all deserve to be first, all deserve to be loved equally. Honestly just love yourself and stop drinking so much. You know that stuff destroys your liver." "But drinking makes the pain go away," Eun says. "Just don't turn it into a habit, ok?" Chiaki says. "Ok," Eun replies.
Chiaki's POV:
I don't like Eun getting drunk when she's depressed. It honestly just hurts my heart when I see anyone that I love in pain. None of us deserve the pain we have, but this world is so cruel. I didn't ask to get kicked out of my house! But honestly, after you experience bad things, good things will come. We've all honestly been through a lot. We all have a past. If we didn't have a past, we wouldn't be living our lives. We've all experienced good, we've all experienced bad. When you experience something bad, the world doesn't end. Life goes on, and you will get through your problems. You might not know how to deal with them at first, but when the time comes, you will.
We scroll through the comments. I see a hate comment. I tell the others. They want me to read it. It says, "Why do we need another Kpop girl group? They're not even talented!" "I honestly think that's a lie," I say. "We're pretty talented.
"Another one," Seol-jin says. "It reads, 'SJ is the queen of rap, Lee is the queen of hot, Jinhee is the queen of high notes, Mi Sun is the queen of cute, Passion is the queen of dance, Nari is the queen of singing in general. Wtf is Grace?!' Honestly that person needs to shut the fuck up! If we didn't have one of the members, we wouldn't be the same group. We need each other."
Eun-Kyung snickers. "B-but I'll never be as good at singing as Jinhee, or be great at rapping like Seol-jin, or have Malee's visual abilities, or be amazing at dancing like Chiaki, or bring joy to peoples' hearts as fast as Mi Sun, or have that amazingly hilarious attitude of Nari."
"You're literally the main dancer," I say. "Only because you gave the chance to me," she replies. "If you didn't give it to me, we all know the role would have been given to you." "I gave it to you because you really deserve it," I say. "Plus you have more experience dancing than me. You didn't train for 5 years for nothing." "You're right," Eun says. "I'll try not to think of my insecurities."
