Hi! You may have read this book a long long time ago, when I first wrote it (5? 6? years ago?). I was a high schooler looking for an escape and found it in TPA. I was pleasantly surprised at its reception. Many people seemed to love it, and when Wattpad put it in their featured list, it was the cherry on top. Unfortunately, because I was a high schooler and this was my first stab at truly writing an entire novel, it fell short of where I would like my plots and story structures to be.
Going back and reading it, I cringed at many a moment. I was so embarrassed that I completely pulled it off Wattpad and let the summary and author's note sit desolate for months. I didn't know what to do with it, especially because I was a pre-med undergraduate and I was writing another book. I told myself (and it was likely true) that I had no time to worry about TPA.
When I finally got some time, I started trying to rework the whole structure and started to enjoy it again. However, with life events (I graduated and got a job I hated that ate away my whole life), I grew frustrated any time I couldn't move forward. This frustration led me to give up on it entirely, throwing it into a folder marked discontinued, convinced I would never have to look at it again. Unfortunately, that's where it sits for now.
