MingRui's P.O.V

Why did he get so mad? All we were doing was sleeping. All I was doing was trying to help her. I sigh.

This wouldn't have happened if I didn't fall asleep. I wouldn't have to wake up to a yelling Hanyu. I wouldn't have had to see Y/N so sad.

This wouldn't have happened if it didn't rain. The lights wouldn't have went out, and I wouldn't have to comfort her. I wouldn't have to wake up to a yelling Hanyu and I wouldn't have to see her so sad.

So yes, I will blame everything on the rain. I have no choice but to. It made Y/N cry, because apparently she's afraid of the dark. It made me get onto Hanyu's bad side. And worst of all, something I've been dreading since I met her 2 days ago, I might have a small crush on her.

To soon, I know. And I also know that after what just happened, there wouldn't be a chance. But Cruches never become something serious. Do they? I mean, it's never happened before so why would that change now?

-A month later- Y/N's P.O.V- Music Class

"Y/N, Mingrui, Why don't you sing something for us?" The teacher asks.

Me and Mingrui nod. As we both walk up to the front after discussing for a minute or to what we would sing. We started.

Y/N: Hey, oh, play ball. Hey, hey, oh

Y/N and Mingrui: Hey, batter, batter, hey batter, batter swing

Mingrui: I've got to just do my thing

Y/N: Hey, batter, batter, hey batter, batter swing

Y/n: I'll show you that it's one and the same: Baseball, dancing, same game. It's easy: Step up to the plate, start swingin'

Mingrui: I wanna play ball now, and that's all. This is what I do. It ain't no dance that you can show me

Y/N: You never know, Oh, if you never know. If you never try~

Mingrui: There's just one little thing that stops me ev'ry time, yeah

Y/N: Come on!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I know you can

Mingrui: Not a chance

Y/N: If I could do this, well you could do that.

Mingrui: But I don't dance

Y/N: Hit it out of the park!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I say you can

Mingrui: There's not a chance

Y/N: Slide home, you score, swingin' on the dance floor

Mingrui: I don't dance, no

Y/N and Mingrui: Hey, batter, batter, hey batter, batter swing

Mingrui: I've got to just do my thing

Y/N and Mingrui: Hey, batter, batter, hey batter, batter swing

Y/N: Two-steppin', now you're up to bat. Bases loaded, do your dance. It's easy: Take your best shot, just hit it

Mingrui: I've got what it takes, playin' my game. So you better spin that pitch you're gonna throw me, yeah

Y/N: I'll show you how I swing

Y/N: You'll never know.

Mingrui: Oh, I know

Y/N: If you never try

Mingrui: There's just one little thing that stops me ev'ry time

Y/N: Come on!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I know you can

Mingrui: Not a chance

Y/N: If I could do this, well, you could do that

Mingrui: But I don't dance

Y/N: Hit it out of the park!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I say you can

Mingrui: There's not a chance

Y/N: Slide home, you score, swingin' on the dance floor

Mingrui: I don't dance, no

Y/N: Lean back, tuck it in, take a chance. Swing it out, spin around, do the dance

Mingrui: I wanna play ball, not dance hall. I'm makin' a triple, not a curtain call

Y/N:

Mingrui: You're talkin' a lot; Show me what you got Stop!

Y/N and Mingrui: Swing!

Mingrui: Hey. Come on, swing it like this. Oh, swing! Ooh

Y/N: Jitterbug. Just like that

Y/N: That's what I mean. That's how you swing

Mingrui: You make a good pitch but I don't believe

Y/N: I say you can
Mingrui: I know I can't

Mingrui: I don't

Mingrui and Y/N: dance

Y/N: You can do it

Mingrui: I don't dance, no

Y/N: Nothin' to it. Atta boy, atta boy. Yeah

Mingrui: Hey, batter, batter, hey, batter, batter, what?

Y/N: One, two, three, four, everybody swing!

Y/N: Come on!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I know you can

Mingrui: Not a chance

Y/N: If I could do this, well, you could do that

Mingrui: But I don't dance

Y/N: Hit it out of the park!

Mingrui: I don't dance

Y/N: I say you can

Mingrui: There's not a chance

Y/N: Slide home, you score, swingin' on the dance floor

Mingrui: I don't dance, no

We finished the song and everyone clapped.

"Wow high school musical? That is so 2006!" Jessica. one of the 'popular' girls said.

I scoffed. "Kiss my ass Jessica!" I whispered to her as I walked back to my seat.
