[Green x Reader] - Reunited

"Look Eevee! We're back in Kanto!"

"Vee!" Your Eevee responds happily.

Smiling while holding your precious Eevee, you look up at the shining sun welcoming Kanto.

"Hm, who do you wanna greet first Eevee? Should we go see the Professor? Or maybe Blue or Yellow, I didn't tell any of them I would come back today. I wanted to keep it a surprise."

"Eevee, vee!"

It's been a few years since you defeated the Kanto Elite Four and became Champion. Your battle with Green and Red ended up in victories for you but you decided to travel to other regions to explore the world, giving your seat of Champion to Red. Reminiscing memories makes you smile and think of the lab.

I wonder how Red and Green are doing? It's been a while since Red texted me but I was able to communicate with Green during these years... I can't wait to see him again!

"Should we go to Professor Oak's lab?" Asking your Eevee while you blush. She happily nods and is excited to see all of her other friends at the lab.

"Haha, okay! Pidgeot come out!" Letting your Pidgeot out of it's pokeball, she stands next to you with her feathers glistening under the sun's rays. Petting her gently, she smiles at you and nuzzles you softly. Getting on her back, you give her instructions on where to go.

"We're back in Kanto! Aren't you excited? Let's go to Professor Oak's lab shall we?"

Giving a simple nod, off you go to the lab!

♥ At the Lab ♥

"Wow, it's beautiful as usual! The air is fresh too!" Breathing in the air of Pallet Town soothes you as you let go of Eevee and stretch.

"Eevee! Vee!"

As soon as you were done stretching, Eevee begins running to the field where the Professor usually does his field work and where the other pokemon play.

"Geez, well, I'll give her time to play, what about you Pidgeot? Wanna play too?" With a small nod, she gives you an answer.

"Okay, be careful and have fun! I'll be inside if you need me!"

Walking to the entrance of the lab, you give a knock on the door and nervously wait for a reply and the door to open.

What if it's Green that opens the door? Oh gosh my heart isn't prepared! It's been years and I haven't told him that I've liked him either!  Geez maybe I should tell him when I see him...

Interrupting your thoughts, the door opens and your head shot up quickly to see who it was.

"Who is it? (Name)! It's been a while! Why hello! Please come in!"

"Professor Oak! It has been a while, and I'm back!" 

Happy to see the sight of the energetic Professor, you go inside and see that things have changed a bit. Walking over to the sofas, he motions for you to sit down.

"It's been years (Name), so how's life? You've been quite successful to beat the Champions in other regions as well." He asks while pouring some tea.

"It's fine! Travelling the world is fun and I had a lot of fun with my different pokemon, but I definitely miss home."

"I see, very understandable."

"Yep, what about you Professor? Isn't this usually the time you do field work? My Eevee and Pidgeot are playing with the other pokemon by the way."

"Hm, about that, I have someone doing that for me today. By the way, how is it with you and Green? You two have been exchanging letters and calling each other right?"
