Chapter 2: Splicing, splicers and everything splice!
As I wondered through the empty abandoned hall, I wonder what was in store for me. I read the red writing along the walls. Blood. The stains of blood made out "Beware of the little sisters."
"Little sisters?" I asked myself. Yeah little sisters are annoying sometimes, sometimes you wish you were an only child, but beware? This place was cold. My wet clothes clung to my body wrapping around ever crevice of my body. Goose bumps trailed up my spine. What was this place? I hesitated before I took a step forward. I heard the sound of a man talking. He gasped aloud, "Oh, my, who has come to visit?" He said in a playful voice.
My body shook from the loud voice that boomed through the intercom. I heard women's voice, "Come on little girl."
"I heard a terrifying scream erupt from the halls. I was bewildered. There was a loud moan from the same room. A very violent sound of a drill started up. I was frozen in fear. I heard the women say, "oh look it's that dumb tin man again."
"We'll kill him, and get the Adam." The man bellowed.
Adam? Whose Adam, was he in danger? I took a step forward, each movement was muffled. I peered over the corner to see a man, a women, a little girl in a purple dress. I crouched lower to the ground as the man yelled with rage. The sound of a machine gun fired. I heard the drill again. I covered my ears trying to block out the drill. What was that?
I heard a crash. I looked up to see a big tall man in a metal suit take the drill and impale the women to the wall. She didn't move or speak, she hung there with her eyes wide open, and blood dripping from her mouth. Now that I was up close I could see her face, besides the look of terror plastered on, I could see the deformations. Did that monster do that to her face?
The man twisted the drill until it unhooked from his suit. In his other hand he handled a .50 caliber machine gun. The long narrow coils shone brightly. The little girl screamed in distress. "Get him Mr. B!"
Mr. B? The man took the girl in his arm as he fired with the single shot pistol. Mr. B didn't even flinch the bullets bounced off his armor. He grabbed her out of his hands, and knocked him into the window. The window formed a crack, as water protruded through. There wasn't a lot of water coming through, but if that glass was to give away the place would flood.
The man laid there with blood forming into a puddle. "Come on Mr. B!" The little girl beckoned. They walked through the hallway. Once they were out of sight, I made a run for it. I didn't glance back at the carnage. I could feel the shake of the ground, as the monster walked along the little girl.
Each step he took, so did I. The room was red, and pink. I've noticed the decorations. The room was a parlor. Each step I took the floor boards creaked. Each step made me tenser. I jumped at the sound of the radio clicking on. An old song from the fifties played. The record skipped, and made a horrible sound.
I wasn't alone I noticed a man next to the radio. "Who are you?" I asked.
"Jack."
"Jack?"
"I noticed you following me. I was for sure you were going to be killed by that big daddy."
"What's that?"
"The big man in the tin suit with the child?"
"But I thought he was Mr. B?"
"They just give them that nickname."
"Them?"
"The little sisters."
"What?"
"Oh. Boy. You're really new to Rapture aren't you?"
