Survivor on QuizUp: Brazil

Episode 1- "I'm Playing with the Big Boys and Girls Now"

On the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean is a large boat, carrying eight varying individuals. The boat picks up speed, finally stopping at a desolate beach on the east coast of South America.

The castaways step off of the boat, shaking hands and greeting each other for the first time. Beaker, Peachy, AJ, Parafin, Natalie, Silver, Rippizzaroni, and Harmon Gill are excited fans, prepared to take on QuizUp's second Fans vs Favorites season.

Shepard: "Welcome to the nineteenth season of Survivor on QuizUp! So, I'm sure you are all dying to know who is playing with you. But before the reveal, you all heard the rules yesterday before you boarded the boat, and if you have any questions, still feel free to ask me anytime soon. If not, it's time to bring out the favorites."

The fans cheer, and Shepard calls out the eight voted in favorites. The favorites consist of James, Ryebuck, Jenelle, Fischer, QuiteAwkward, Ari, Noel, and Cia.

When each favorite walks out, the fans respond in different measures. Many cheer, some scream. A few mouths even drop.

Beaker (muttering out loud): "Wow this cast is literally all icons."

Peachy (while looking at Noel): "Wowza a risky boy."

The favorites take their place on the tarp, looking over at the newbies.

Noel (when asked about his thoughts on the cast): "I'm telling you now: a favorite will win this game."

Fischer (recalling the last Fans vs Favorites season): "Looking at our tribe, we seem strong. But look what happened in season 9. The favorites lost every single immunity challenge. Hopefully this season we can change the history of the favorites tribe."

Shepard (pulling out two bags, each holding the respective tribe buffs): "Well there you have it. These are your tribes. Newbies, you are on Novo, which appropriately means "new." Your tribe animal is a fox and you will wear the orange buffs. Here you go, Peachy, try not to get them too dirty. Returning players, you are on Velho, which means "old" in Portuguese. Your tribe animal is a gorilla and in reference to the original favorites tribe, you will wear purple buffs. Fischer, catch.  Here are the maps to your camp locations in two tropical, yet murky beaches. No challenges today, instead go and socialize. The game starts now. Note that idols and the pre-merge advantage will be hidden in camp after two votes have occurred. That's right...you have to play the game and not worry about idols. Good luck, Survivors."

Both tribes cheer and head off into opposite directions.

At Novo, the rookies begin chatting with one another with joy and excitement. Peachy, Natalie, and Parafin talk the most, introducing themselves first.

Peachy (to her tribe): "Hey everyone! I am Gabriela, or Peachy. If you want to contact about the game or just to talk go ahead!"

Natalie (to Peachy): "That's such a pretty name"

Peachy and Natalie smile at one another, forming a new friendship. As they go to get palms for the shelter, Beaker catches up with them. The three of them gel throughout the afternoon as the tribe works together to build a shelter.

Peachy (when asked about her first day on Survivor): "Natalie and Beaker and I have a good bond. We have started to form an alliance. Also, Parafin believes that we should go far into the game with each other. This beginning of the game was exciting for me!"

Beaker (when asked about the season): "Wow, there are a lot of good people this season. I hope the fans can match the intensity. I have already aligned with some of the fans, like Peachy and Natalie. Hopefully I will do well!"
