Alex's POV: This was the darkest part of my life because my best friend was diagnosed with leukemia. This summer before his diagnosis his favorite player left Miami to go home and broke Zach's heart. Zach was depressed because of LeBron's decision to go back to Cleveland and he carried that depression into chemotherapy treatments. Thankfully though Zach fought through his depression and continued to fight this leukemia. I was so shocked that I put his face on my goalie mask as a inspiration for our hockey team. Thank goodness Zach is doing much better and is now hockey fan because of LeBron leaving Miami which is good because I was sick of stories of LeBron.
