I was sleeping peacefully, having a dream about being on the beach with the love of my life, a little kid running around chasing birds. It's just a black silhouette running around but I can clearly see the love of my life next to me. His black hair smoothed back, bright green eyes smiling as he watches the kid run, his teeth gleaming. I watch the features on his face go from beaming, to a stern look. My stomach drops, fear begins to set in.
Of course I was dreaming. He never smiles. Why would he?
He suddenly turns to look at me and gives me a look of disgust. "No one wants you, Karina. Your family didn't want you. My family doesn't want you. I, don't want you" he spits and grabs me by my hair. I scream out and look over at the kid, it vanishes. We're now in the basement of his home.
I bite my lip to stop from screaming, I don't want to give him the pleasure of hearing them. "Answer me, Karina. Why would I love you? You're ugly, pathetic, and weak. No one, will ever want you!" he throws me down to the ground and begins to kick me. I didn't think it was possible to pass out in a dream, but you never know until it happens. My vision begins to blur, his figure beginning to sway. The love of my life disappears.
