"I... I didn't mean to. I ruined everything. Why did that happen? It wasn't supposed to happen. I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to..." I remember speaking very fast, trying so hard to drive in that it was an accident. But there weren't really any words to properly describe the thoughts going through my head, which were racing through quicker than I could fully process them.
"We know, Baby," Ballora told me. She was the only one to say anything. Even Freddy was quiet, surprisingly.
"Well, they don't!"
Interesting how quickly someone can fall apart.
Do you still blame yourself for the death? Or perhaps the girl? The father?
Well, it's the brat's—, my fault for getting too fucking close, even when "daddy dearest" kept saying not to do so. But then again, maybe he shouldn't have built me to kill in the first place.
Without that rotten programming, maybe we wouldn't be here. Maybe we could be doing what we wanted to at the time. Maybe we could've just performed. We could have made people happy.
But those dreams were practically already dust before anything went wrong.
We did all know that one of us would give in to that programming eventually. We didn't know who would give in first, but we all kind of silently agreed not to hold it against the one who fell first.
I never thought I'd be the first. And I certainly never expected them to keep our promise, but for some reason they did. I can't really understand how they could, especially after what the incident brought with it. But maybe they never did, maybe their forgiveness was false.
You doubt their honesty with you?
Yes. I do doubt the honesty of that gang of trash bags.
I bet Molten Freddy would have something to say about that.
Well, I don't care about their point of view or their opinions. Not anymore. Those traitors can go suck an egg.
Oh my.
You can't tell me that they didn't have some type of resentment towards me. Not after what the incident brought with it. What it left hanging in the air around us for the remainder of our stay in that prison. The things it put us through.
"They don't know at all... this is all my fault."
