Ambers parents were split up, and have been since she was 13. Amber took it very hard. She was always used to her parents being together, and being happy. Before Amber disappeared she was a quiet young lady. She wasn't always quiet, she became that way after her parents divorce, she once was a lively, bubbly, and active girl. Her mother was forced to move out of the house they all shared. Amber was left with only her father. Amber was scared of her father, she never knew why she got chills every time he would look at her. To say her father creeped her out is a understatement. Ambers father was a man who had very dark brown eyes, a beer belly but other than that, slim, dark black hair. You would always see him wearing a flannel and some khaki pants. Some swore he always wore the same outfit. Ambers father became an alcoholic and somewhat of a drug addict when Jolie, Ambers mom, left. Jolie never got to see child after the divorce. Jolie always was weary of her ex-husband, but never thought he could be capable of hurting anyone.
When Jolie left, Mark, Amber's dad, thought it was time to add a mans touch to the house, he completely remodeled it, and built several new rooms on the house. There was even a room nobody even knew was there. It was the best room for what Mark had in mind.
