The First Day

Monday, November 12th

Eren sat in his office, going through some recent paperwork he had to fill out still. He rubbed his temples, sighing. All this paperwork and a new employee. As if he hadn't been stressed enough.
There was a knock at the door, causing Eren to try and look not as tired and stressed as he was on the inside,"Come on in." He said, leaning back in his chair.
The new employee walked in. He was wearing a black dress shirt and black dress pants that matched his black shoes. His hair was combed to the side, and he was very short.
"You must be Levi." Eren said, standing and walking up to Levi. "Yup. And you're Mr. Jaeger?" Levi's voice was very monotone, and his expression seemed blank. It didn't match his real personality, though. "Yes. It's nice to meet you. Would you like a tour of the building?" Eren asked, smiling a little bit. "Yes, please." Levi replied, Eren's attitude spreading on him and making him smile too. Eren couldn't help but stare at Levi's face. It's like he had already fallen in love. Then things got awkward. "Sorry! Let's get going!" Eren said, after he realized he had been staring for a long time. Levi's face burned a bright red as he followed Eren around the office. The only thing he was still questionable about was their height difference. They were only a year apart. Eren was 22 and Levi was 21. How could Eren be so much taller? (I know Levi is in his early 30's and Eren is 16 or something, let me write what I want.)
However Eren did it, Levi already liked the guy. Not romantically, just in a friendship way. They had just met.

At the end of the work day, they were finally done with the tour of the huge building. "Thank you for the tour of the office, Mr. Jaeger." Levi said, looking up at Eren. "No problem." Eren replied, wanting to ask Levi out. "Well, I better get going. I'll see you tomorrow." Levi said, starting to walk off. "Wait!" Eren stopped him. Levi looked up at Eren, confused. "Do you...um...wanna go out together sometime? Maybe Friday after work?" Eren asked, his face turning red. "Of course. If anything changes, just call me. See you then." Levi replied, handing Eren a small piece of paper with a phone number on it, walking off.
Eren smiled to himself, feeling accomplished.
